Curse Cast Speed is kind of useless, suggest alternative
![]() These three nodes here, you're forced to go through them to get to Whispers of Doom, and I feel like they're mostly wasted points. Curses already have a really fast base cast time of 0.5 seconds, and those three nodes only manage to lower it to 0.44 seconds. That really is no difference at all. The alternative? Curse Area of Effect. Or Curse Radius, whatever you want to call it. 6% more curse AoE range per node would be a really useful boost, and I don't think anyone would call it overpowered or somehow too good, it just allows you to hit more monsters with one cast of a curse which you could have done anyway by casting it twice in different locations. I've wondered about this myself.

Those passives are deliberately weak. It's to force you to pay 4 points for Whispers of Doom, because it's an extremely powerful keystone (especially once you already have Hex Master) with no downside.
(Whispers of Doom is devalued somewhat by the fact that you can just load up on 'additional curse' uniques. But I think the problem is with the uniques, not the keystone - multicurse shouldn't be handed out cheaply!) Dernière édition par Incompetent#3573, le 28 mai 2013 à 07:17:36

i think as well that its too weak. 3% more effectiveness would be way better. i also like the radius-idea a lot.

I think the current setup is quite well balanced in terms of its opportunity cost to power ratio, but I think it would be nice if down the line GGG offered some more curse specialization options like those mentioned in this thread. Area and increased curse effect in particular.
Along the same lines, I think inner force is a little bit too broad of an investment stat--the game would become more strategically interesting if it were split into Aura, Flask, and Skill buffs, with differing notables for each. (For example, putting Leadership into the Aura Force cluster and adding flask effect duration to the Flask Force cluster.) | |
" That seems rather harsh and incendiary to an otherwise benign, if inaccurate, post. Why not simply say "this is incorrect" as you've done in several other threads in the past? |
