Intel HD Graphics 3000.............

My tech specs are as follows:

Intel i5-2430M CPU @ 2.40GHz
6 GB Memory
Windows 7 64GB

Since I have slightly better specs than you and plan on playing on native resolution (1366x768) I think I will have slight better performance as well.

Reading through the comments, some have good experience with it and others not really. I will just have to buy it and try it out for myself.
Hey whats up i have a intel (R) graphics but i am not sure if its a intel R 3000 or not all it said is a intel R HD graphics how can u tell

This card still can't handle this game, and should be able too.

My tech specs here:

CPU: DualCore Intel Core i3-2125, 3300 MHz (HD Graphics 3000 integrated*)
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H61MA-D2V
System: Windows XP SP3 + DirectX 9.0c
Monitor: LG L1753TR (matrix: 1280x1024)

* I downloaded the latest drivers for HD 3000 from Intel website. It slightly improved the game fps.

I'm using these settings in the game:

Screen resolution: 1280x1024
Display mode: full screen
VSync: YES
Shadow Type: No Shadows
Antialiasing Quality: OFF (that option is not possible to enable)
Texture filtering: Trilinear filtering
Post processing: NO

As mentioned in my earlier post, the game is playable with above settings but not smooth enough for comfortable playing. I receive around 18-25fps on average. In some places it may drop a bit below that and in places not intense graphically it raises to around 30fps. Without the variance shadows mapping the game loses a lot of its graphic quality but I have no choice for now otherwise the fps drops to unplayable level.

I will wait with buying a video card until official game tech specs are announced. Perhaps that HD 3000 performance will be fine until then.

Thanks for your post. Maybe you've already solved the problem back in 2012, but I just found this post because I also have the same concern. I got to travel next week, and will be away from my desktop. So I'll have to use my laptop. Thankfully, I will have some time still to kill a few mobs on Path of exile. Don't mind me sharing my results.

My laptop run on windows 7 64bit. Has an i5-2450M 2.5Ghz processor, no additional graphics card (hence using intel's HD 3000), and with 8 gig ram.

With all the fancy graphics settings on, FPS =~10. At some point the program even crashed.

With the below settings, I got average 38-50 FPS (in area up to killing Hillock). Moves like heavy strike and hitting mobs will sometimes move the FPS to the single digit, momentarily freezing the screen. But usually runs smoothly. In Act 1 town, FPS =~25-30.

Screen resolution: basic (?)
Display mode: Windowed
VSync: NO
Shadow Type: No Shadows
Antialiasing Quality: OFF
Texture filtering: Trilinear filtering
Post processing: NO

Texture quality was Medium, which was the lowest setting.

So, I am so glad I can play this game on my laptop.
