I seriously can't believe people defend or excuse this.

Turning the parties list into a spam filled garbage dump isn't a good thing for anyone.

I understand why the players are doing it, still doesn't make it a desirable thing. I can't imagine GGG looks at that and goes, "Ah yes, things are working perfect!"

Hopefully whatever improved trading mechanisms they are implementing will help this issue.

No one (sensible) is saying it's the perfect option... now you're just being silly.

All I personally am saying is that the problem, as we all know, is that GGG need a better trade system - not that people who find another way should be slapped around. GGG know this is the real problem too, and are working on it.

Hahahahah, now that was a good OP. Funny stuff.

On a serious note, it is getting really bad. Not only are 90% of the games on the join screen trade games, now they are putting empty spaces before the WTS so they show up first on the list. Pretty soon the whole screen is going to be all empty spaces with a "WT" being the only thing visible in the title name.

I have no idea what is the best way to stop this, because you could do it 100 different ways. I just want it to stop. I don't even try to join public games anymore because of this...and a few other reasons unrelated.

And finally, can we have access to all the games based on Act/Difficulty? When in Act3 Merc looking for a map group (or docks - cant even find docks groups anymore), I literally can only find like 3 games that are not "WTS" games. The worst part is I know that there are lots of games going on, but I just cant see them. It seems very inefficient if everyone can only see 10 of the 100 public games, and 7 of those 10 are "WTS" games.

I want to see all 100 public games.

If you are telling me that the filter search field will yield results for any game on the North American server, then yes I am an idiot and that will resolve my problem.

I always thought the filter only searched the list of 10 games shown, which would essentially render it useless.

So either I am an idiot ( which is very likely) or the filter is useless.

How could this upset someone? I don't understand.

* Open tab to find a Docks group.
* Has to look a little bit further down the list to find one.
* THIS IS HORRIBLE!!!

This is how I imagine it.

I had an argument with someone earlier that had that exact problem.

"Why do I need to work (i.e. look down in the list) to find a party?"
"Should only have games that do quests on the "gameboard""

What it came down to, was that he deems people who use the noticeboard for trading as lazy, after complaing that it was too much work to look for his games (the irony), he considered it "spam", didn't consider trading games to be "games" and he never understood the meaning of "public party".

It's like talking to a brick wall.

Its like playing chess with a pidgeon.
Doesnt matter how good you are, it will knock over the pieces, crap on the board and strut around like it's victorious.
Waiting for a descent league thats entirely a huge, neverending ledge style map with only "undead rhoas of fervor" in it.
I see nothing wrong with this, other then the OP's appauling lazyness(complains about having to read a few exta words)
The game does not adapt to you, you adapt to it.

Explain how it's bad.
All you do is simply saying it's bad. Just... because?

In D2 this worked just fine. Open groups for gameplay, trade, pvp, hanging out.
Does it hurt you if there are more than 5-6 lines of groups in the list?

New Tab - Trade Party go go
"New Tab - Trade Party go go"

Then 24 hour ban for 1st offense, 48 for 2nd, 1 week for 3rd and permaban if done a 4th time.

This is BS as it is not what was intended.

What would be so bad about adding a new tab to the party screen that says Trade Post? or Trade Party?
