0.9.13 - In Depth Flicker Strike Dagger Guide
Been using your build, enjoying the crap out of it.
Any thoughts on using haste? |

Slightly off topic, but at around what level do you get Flicker Strike from a quest as a Shadow, if at all?

@Redbandoiler
I started a character following this build with nothing and believe I aquired flicker strike as a quest reward in act2 (normal), perhaps ~lvl20? Would have liked it sooner but it worked out. =) - - - Currently at lvl 31 and I must say this build is a Beast. Only "issue" right now is trying to afford all the auras and still have room for spells -.-, my max mana/mana steal is a bit too low to allow free usage of everything. Cheers |

I'm gathering that if I want to use this in Hardcore I'm probably going to want to have a few of those gems ready to go.

Working on this build. I started my Shadow as a dual striker with cleave until I got to A2. Once I got FS, I equipped a resist + ES shield with a nice high elemental damage claw and went to town on things. I'm a bit on a lucky side because I'm an item hoarder, so I had nice rare items the whole way. I'm at 28 now and I got there in one sitting. Starting ruthless now, we'll see how I do. While Dual Striking, I was doing pretty nice damage, at lvl 17 I was doing around 250 DPS. At 28, with FS I am doing almost almost 400 DPS. So not too bad.

I got some orbs to make more sockets and make them the right color, but I can't find a single fuse orb... go figure. Been following this build and I have to admit that it is awesome, (perhaps too awesome?) Oneshotting everything with huge elemental damage get's a bit boring. It feels like there's no challenge now, if that's possible. Only problem I've faced so far are those flicker striking monsters but whirling blades have saved me every time.. until huge lagspike and disconnection.
Heads: I win, Tails: You lose.

I am now lvl 30 with with over 1,100 DPS. I destroyed Brutus in Cruel... lol, didn't even need to use my Granite flask with 95% increased armor (20k armor added on)... and that's the only reason I kept it on, so that I can use on him and didn't even touch it... as a matter of fact, I didn't touch any of my flasks. I think it was about 5-6 flicker strikes and the fight was over.

" I tried find Discipline gem, which gives me huge bonus to energy shield, but i am at Rutheless difficulty (my level is 59) and i am still don't have this one. Where you've found it ? |

I purchased my Discipline for some ungodly price when I was level 29, but it was worth it. They're quite difficult to find.
Now, I haven't bought any item or gem from anyone in days, and my 1.2k ES and 800 DPS around level 38 is plenty for me to two-shot everybody in my full MF gear (158% MF). Wicked build. Dernière édition par intehzPwn#6995, le 25 mai 2012 à 02:41:10

i see the replies and thats all the dps you guys are getting?
by level 20 i had 1.5k dps with this build. Perhaps you guys are not focusing on Elemental damage items as you should? (rings, necklace, gloves, weapons) |
