WOD i would just like to say Thank You Thank You Thank You , absolutely love your builds & Guides beautifully written and well set out .
I was playing your Summoner build and parked it @ lvl 80 , ive played him for 3 leagues straight and i thought i would have a little break and go back to a melee build for a change so i looked up your guide List and this one sounds fun. He's level 30 at the moment been levelling using perforate with sand stance and its really good , just fitted in my bladestorm gem and currently using both . Cheers. Also, I really like the damage that comes from going to Steadfast and Rampart. There's also Path of the Warrior and the "travel" nodes on the way to the Marauder's starting point that can help too! "Hey Vertiel! Well, you may have capped in terms of your expectations I guess. My builds aren't ever going to be the hardest hitting since my trees and gems revolve around SSF gear. But they won't lack damage to the point where they can't do boss battles at a reasonable rate. The thing with your weapon is that it's still mediocre (in my opinion). Melee classes are really dependant on their weapons. You have a really high % increase on your sword, but a really low flat damage roll. That low flat roll has a really big impact on your damage. Also, look at the lowest damage on your weapon. There's a chance that many of your hits are hitting for a base damage of 87 instead of your highest. So with your next weapon aim for higher minimum damage. Do you need advice on how to go about crafting a weapon? I'm happy to help if you need it. The thing to remember with this build is our Trigger Skills and our ascendancy nodes are big parts of our damage. So if we aren't getting hit or blocking, our damage won't be really high. So with battles that have lots of enemies, we'll have great damage. In battles without extra enemies, it'll take longer. But honestly, if you're not enjoying the build, don't feel like you have to play it. But any melee build you play will require great weapons to do great damage. Hi again brother,
(Sorry Im on phone and I have no clue how to quote back) So the main thing to look for now remains the gear with + physical and attack speed of any kind. Not sure if I get a much better sword than mine tbh so I have to go for the rest of the gear. And rly important, I need a piece with +% of dmg to mana, Im rly struggling with mana management when speaking of single target battles, I always have to use flasks - what do you do here? Playing on ps4 instead of pc makes it rly difficult to find good gear as on poe.trade there are not so many items posted and the ingame feature is a total pain since I cannot restrict my search too much. Ps: I tried yesterday halls of thw grandmasters, dmn they beat the s,... out of me :-)))))))))))) |

"Hey ninjakurulz! Yup! You have a nice weapon for sure. Better than mine. It's just min/maxing damage from this point forward. The thing to keep in mind is that this build does lots of damage while getting hit/blocking lots. If we're not getting hit, it's a little slow. Still a stud but slow. In regards to mana management, you have forgotten to take the mana leech node under Vaal Pact (unless you're getting mana leech from somewhere else that I didn't notice). You have more than enough damage for the smallest mana leech node to be enough for you. Haha! Ya. The HoG is a crazy map. It all scales with PvP play. I never make any of my builds to revolve around that map. You need a really strong DOT only build to be able to clear the whole thing with one character. Thsnk for the tip, indeed I overlooked that small node, will pick it up as soon as I log into poe. I failed atziri too, had no clue the mirror lady has return dmg :-)) Will do it later today I think (if my daughter will decide to sleep anytime this year) The min/max costs quite a fortune, those armors with tons of life and -15 mana costs quite a lot, at least for me. Also, insane ringz, amulets, boots and helmets. But well, will get them one by one. Best regards, Cristian |

"I hear ya ninjakurulz, My PoE time comes after my kids are actually asleep as well. And one of them is a Night Owl. All it took for me was one time...I wanted to play a little PoE during the day while the kids were really enjoying their toys. I was running through Blood Aqueduct and one of my kids asked why the bridge I was on wasn't melting because of all the lava around it (BLOOD aqueduct)...
