Idk if I'll be able to find a better wep. I've been throwing chaos at an ilvl 85 corsair sword, but so far no luck.
On another note, why do you use a coral amulet when we have vaal pact? | |
"Hey Vertiel! One thing you can do instead of using Chaos is use a Scouring on the whole thing, then a Transmute. Then just use Alterations until you get a great Increase to Physical Damage. Once you get a great roll, Use a Regal Orb on it. Most of the time a Regal Orb makes an item Rare with very few mods, leaving open both a Prefix and a Suffix slot. Then you can add Flat Physical Damage for only a couple Chaos. My apologies if that's old news to you, but it's there just in case. The Coral Amulet isn't for the regen. It's just an amulet with Life, Resists, and a free Endurance Charge. It could EASILY be upgraded. I should really get around to that. Outstanding guide brother!
It is by far, the best char Ive played ever in poe :-)) I have two queries: 1 - is there any bis for hand slot? Sorry if I missed it.. 2 - please have a look at my passive tree. I took almost all sword based nodes, where can I get more damage from? I mean I die so rare and mostly cos I am not paying attention, therefore what I need now is "moar dmg". Thank you for taking the time to read my ppst and thank you very much for the build. |

I've been really enjoying this build in the current league. It's so tanky I feel like I can't die most of the time, and the enemies just kill themselves against my defenses. However, this also means that when enemies are not particularly aggressive, killing them can be a bit slow. The damage from Bladestorm isn't bad, but with my current 4-link it's not that high either. Blight content in particular is giving me trouble. Unless there's a single path to the pump I can't kill monsters on every side fast enough and I fail the encounters pretty regularly. Do you have any advice on how to deal with it? I played Blight league as your Necro build (another great one) which meant I could basically stand still and my minions would deal with everything with little to no effort on my part, so I may not have learnt the better strategies there... I'm surprised more people don't do it. 1 - My "dream mods" for gloves (which I think is what you were asking) would likely be Spiked Gloves with: - Add # to # Physical Damage to Attacks - + # to Maximum Life - + # to Armour/+ # to Maximum Life - # % increased Attacks Speed - + #% to Chaos Resistance - + #% to element resist 2 - By default, GGG sets people's characters to Private. Which means I can't see your character. If you login to their website, if you're comfortable with it, change your character tab to public. Then I can quickly check out your stuff. "Hey Kaorael! I'm glad you're liking it! Thanks for the thanks! Every build has it's pros and cons. Unfortunately, Blight is pretty lame when the paths split 180 degrees away from each other. This build is dependant on getting hit for many of its damage bonuses (with the ascendancy and the trigger skills). So in the circumstances when we aren't getting hit, there isn't too much we can do. Blood stance is our best bet in those circumstances. With Blights, I run back and forth between choke points I've found and I always go for the cold/"freeze/trap" options on the tower. The slower enemies are, the better chance we have. Besides that, it's just one of the struggles this particular build has, sorry. I hope that helps! I have an 87-288 sword, my friend who is also using this build, has an even better sword but still has the damage problem. I feel like I hit a ceiling with this build.
