Is there any way to start the league on this build and work towards vaal spark? Or would you recommend starting the league with a fast clearing/cheap league starter then build this character once I have ~10ex to spend on bloodstained fossil gear?

Hi, I would not recommend doing this as a league starter. In my opinion you should be "starting the league with a fast clearing/cheap league starter then build this character once I have ~10ex to spend on bloodstained fossil gear" as you said :p

I think you can. Someone here (somewhere in the previous posts) said that he went with trickster and didn't have any problems without the flasks effects from the pathfinder ascendancy.
But I would personnaly recommend you to stick with the PF ascendancy. For me it's the best option for this build.

No I don't think so. Because the Soul Catcher is a Quartz Flask and is already giving us permanent phasing. It is not worth to take this not as it would require a lot of points to go there. Also it's not giving us much stat. :)
