How to build around "Infractem"

ATM I'm still lacking game knowledge, your tips/advises are valuable to me especially those comments about socket and Infractem.

Infractem can be a decent bow if you don't want to go deadeye or spend points for pierce as it already has that working at maximum efficiency. I suppose you can save a gem slot or some passives.

Like others have said not sure if it's worth building around when you can use bows like lioneye's glare.
I think Infractem is a remnant from the old days when uniques came with a downside in this case no life leech (but you can use life gain on hit)

There should be a fated version of this bow to make it more useful.
