I'm considering running this build SSF this league. Until I can find the gloves do you think it's worth picking up avatar of fire? Or just leave it at 50% conversion?

I'm a total noob and trying this for my first playtrough. I switched to BV at lvl 30/35 and i dont know, it feel clunky and weak. Damage and survivability seem low. Any tips? Should i play BV later?

" Please don't, as this will decrease your damage by more than it will increase it. Avatar of Fire reads: "50% of Physical, Cold and Lightning Damage Converted to Fire Damage Deal no Non-Fire Damage" I played this as SSF in Delve until level 92, before migrating to trade league. Personally, I had no problems progressing with just 50% conversion until I got the gloves. Your support gems and most damage multipliers are not specifically targeted at elemental damage, so your damage will be more than enough until you find the gloves. I think I finally got them around level 85 and had no trouble, whatsoever, to get there. Ironically enough, I found 3 Hrimsorrows on my second SSF char before I even hit level 80. |

" Might have been wrong how you skilled your passive tree - or your items were lacking... not enough life on them? Resistances? Cast speed? Did you have a movement skill? Movement speed on boots? 2 or 3 Quicksilver Flasks? Hard to tell what you did wrong with no details :) I usually start using BV as soon as I get it and the 3 heralds... which is around Act 2, and although it might be a bit slow in the beginning it still is easy to clear everything with it! |

" It seems it has already been updated with the new tree. Just not much information on gearing and gems. And the tree does not really solve the dexterity problems. Running with precision and jade amulet is not enough to keep to the BV requirements at the given steps of the guide. |
