Can boss curse effectivines get changes from less to decreased?
IMO t16 and above bosses should just straight out have a "70% less damage taken" mod by default. 50% for t11-t15, 30% for yellows, 10% for whites.
Boss curse resistance can't be changed as long as Enfeeble / TC exist. Running a double blasphemy with them and having all three gems 20/20 already makes a joke out of ALL non-curse immune mobs. |

Hrm, I was considering playing occultist as first Po[k]E League build. There is a helmet, Doedre's Scorn, that gives you +20% damage per curse on your enemy. Are you guys factoring that as well as Doedre's Skin into your calculations? I mean you can get like 9 curses on a boss with Doedre's Effigy for 9 * 20% damage = +180% damage with both hits and ailments + the ~20% elemental damage that Doedre's Scorn also has for a grand total of +200% damage with say... a fire skill...
Like Flame Surge which requires you to ignite your enemy anyway, and I'm not sure if you can ignite shaper or not but whatever, anyhow, against other bosses you will get buffed ignite damage, and buffed Flame Surge damage which also gives you 50% MORE of its own damage AND Malediction's. " So change the problem at the source then? Change the quality bonus of both TC and Blasphemy and TC would already be a lot less insane, even with my change and curse effectiveness stacking. Max you can get is a level 23 gem with 130% effectiveness if you get the head enchant, resulting in a 46.5% slow. Remove the head enchant as well (nobody uses at the moment) and it's a 37.2% slow. For the amount of investment that sounds reasonable (If it's still to high just add a % less effective against bosses mod on the gem itself). Enfeeble just need lower numbers to start with. 30% less damage reduction at level 20 is pretty insane. It's not perfect and you might as well just completely rework both of them, but at least all the other curses wouldn't be completely useless against the end-game bosses. |

" I might be wrong here, but from what I remember the only time GGG touched these curse gems was when it became public knowledge that TC could achieve 100% slow. And even that kneejerk nerf was overturned the second curse hard caps were added. Yeah, wouldn't suggest getting your hopes up... |

Make it so the less curse effectiveness for map bosses only applies to enfeeble and temp chains. No other balancing needed.
