Hi,

maybe I do something wrong here, but I struggle a bit leveling up. Currently starting act 8 .. slightly underleveled, my biggest issue is my damage which plain sucks. Act 7 Boss was like dying 50 times (yeah I was mad and it was 3am :D).

Got some advice, what's wrong there?

I have an entire section dedicated to the weapons you should use while leveling which you obviously didn't bother to read.

I actually did read that, however I had no luck finding anything of the enlisted not even a white double claw at the vendor for the mana gain. Hence also this offhand ..
I just checked poetrade and now plenty of stuff for affordable prices is available .. so think that's solved. Wasn't really the case yesterday morning :D I had simply no currency to buy anything.

EDIT: Little update a bit of playing later .. I bought a new claw .. just something cheap and halfway decent and now it works. I still die every now and then to my crappy resists but it's fine now. Thanks for pointing the main problem/error! =)

I just hit 60 in the new league and I want to use 2 of The wasp Nest. But I will no longer have the mana regen from my double claw. How do i compensate for lost regen?

Just made that too, can say from experience the increased damage covers for it. Although I still use a mana or hybrid flask for the moments it doesn't. (seems primarily necessary on fast moving single targets where I don't manage to hit often enough)

Your leech should cover it. Your damage will increase with the wasps. If you're having trouble just disable the herald (since you can't have an enlighten this early). The damage increase from the claws will more than make up for it. You can reenable it later when you deal enough damage.

I just started playing the build and i'm pretty early on still i haven't gotten to the end of act 1 yet but im almost there and i realized this build at least early on cannot do incursions, like at all, unless you never want to upgrade a room or open a door this build can't do it. now im sure this changes alot later on in the build i was just wondering when this build would be incursion ready in your opinion, unless my links are to blame, currently i have a protector, WB, and ST-Maim-LMP. the only reason i want to know is so that i know when its actually profitable to interact with the league in this build.

Decided to post another reply due to how much I botched the original.


I am currently level 68 with 4k hp and 7k tooltip dps. With buffs and charges up I am around 18 to 20k constant after the first two packs. I must say, this build is very cheap to gear early maps, fun to play and the WB with Blood Rage feels really nice. It took a bit of fiddling with to get my preference down, but thanks again for posting. I was able to afford all besides the wep for about 2c.
