5L success rate?

Spent 380+ jeweller's to make it 5S, then spent 20+ fusings to make it 5L. I don't know if I was lucky or not.

there's a tooltip that the orb consumes the quality to improve the chances....

is it worth? anyone have numbers?

An important thing to note is this: It's really only worth 5ling an item if it's either a unique or a very very good item. I'm seeing situations in this thread where people ding 50 and find a random bow/chest on the ground and try to 5l it. The item must be worth pouring in a bunch of currency.

How do you even necro a 1 year old thread? Are you going back pages and pages and pages and reading through every single thread?

I would just save up 150 fusion and use the assassin to 5 link it. A lot more dependable without the possiblity of wasting 100s of orbs for no benefit.

They really need to start autolocking threads that have gone more than a month/year/whatever without anyone posting. Or at least have it warn people that the thread is that old and then start handing out probation/bans for people who intentionally necropost threads like this without a good reason.
