I had 5700hp, no animation from Tzteosh - insta death. EQ and BF - this is a joke to answer those core problems the game has. - check any ladder, check any stream - only cheesy sparkers and and offscreen sh*t I really don't understand why we need such strange risky life flask management? without cooldowns and one shots to kill people from top of the ladder. Why don't just add more Tul's "trap" type breaches/mechanics in the game? I think the game would be much more enjoyable if we have some confidence. Yo the game is balanced you just have to follow the guidelines:
1. Don't play melee 2. Don't play melee (kind of important) 3. Do not use evasion (well you can but it fails semi-randomly and does not work against spells for some reason.) 4. Do not use Armor. (well you can but it really doesn't work against projectiles, big hits, spells, consecutive smalls hits, traps, boss skills, etc. still better than evasion though) 5. Cap your resistances (very important) 6. Do not use claws (unless you like wolverine or like being inefficient at killing. daggers do it better so do swords, axes, wands, unarmed, staffs, etc.) 7. Keep some sort of headache medicine nearby whenever you go to trade (if not other recreational things work.) 8. Complain about the lab 9. Do not complain about the lab 10. Keep a rubber chicken by your computer for luck (bet you did not see that coming) 11. Make a daily sacrifice to R.N.GSUS 12. Layer your defense but be wary of guidelines 3 & 4 13. Do not get frustrated when things go awry (drops in fps, random one-shots, dying in hideout, etc. these are all isolated things) 14. The Atlas is not your friend 15. Imminuties are not legit but they seem legit so that is close enough 16. Do not play melee (seriously they will find you) 17. Do not play PvP 18 Rogue Exiles ain't shit (even in groups they ain't shit) 19. Prophecy Helps? 20 Loot Filters love them, cherish them, use them, and never look back Still failing to solve "The Riddle of Melee" 4.0 HYPE!!!

Can we also talk about the last arena of Daresso Dream and its design "instanced", if you die once, you have to be teleported right in the middle, surrounded, with TOO MUCH mobs and you die in 0.5 second.

Enemies/bosses are two sides of each extreme right now. They are either completely harmless or they OHKO/close to OHKO with a difficult to see attack. The only thing that seems to fall in any sort of in-between are the Ascendary Trial moving traps.

"Yep, design of that encounter is horrible, to put it mildly. Was leveling yesterday with some random people in cruel. We just slashed through the content like hot knives through butter, and then... that fight. deaths:0 --> deaths: 7. e: what's really hilarious, I didn't die later on at fight with Daresso. Fortify MoM Armor Endurance Charge Basalt Flask Capped Resists Decoy Totem Even with base 3 endurance charge cap that is 12% phys reduction and bonus resistance. No excuse not to have 3 up at all times with enduring cry. Vigilant Strike, Fortify support, Inc Duration = >12 seconds of fortify 3L it on offhand with two Advancing Fortress and you got 50% block. Can also use whirling blades for better safety, but a lot less duration. Even if decoy totem does not aggro, it still taunts, reducing their damage against you by 10%. So we got 40% reduction with those 3. That means my 4k hp char has more effective hp than your 5.7k without those. Massive lifepools are a luxury for people with god tier items, everybody else has to substitute with skill and planning. Also the beyond mobs are supposed to be ridiculous. That is the whole point. Cluster conversion trap is can help lame them though. A kid with a magnifying glass. . . looming down on the anthill. Eventually one is going to get you. " The core problem is the fact than enemy damage grows up from expansion to expansion and your defences from expansion to expansion have a less effectiveness. 75% resistances is must have, but it not guaranteed your safeness. Why? Because everyone grab 75% of all resistances. Withoyt that game just unplayable. Gear have no resisstances = crap gear. With the exception of mandatory parameters that some build use or just game breaking parameters. But, you know, even with 75%+ of all resistances game still must kills your character to become challenging. So enemy damage just grows up. Right now I play a glacier hammer build and loses 90% of my 5900 HP before character was close to enemy to hit them - is a common situation. Also if the most problem solves by using CI, leech+VP, CI+leech+VP or hitting things from the far-far-far-far away, and the any other variants being almost unployable, the game balance simpl does not exist. If GGG continue going that way - we all must be uses a 2-3 skills with 3-4 builds in a distant future. E = mc^(OMG)/wtf

CI characters with would have died to that molten strike too... It's hard to tell even how many more hits would have hit him if he had not died Also thanks for changing elemental resist flasks to 6% after promising to make increases max resists 'more available' instead of balancing pathfinder... after all this time we got 1 new shield with +3 max res if you have 0 endurance charges. Can we get rid of elemental damage map mod already or change it to monsters gain non elemental damage as elemental damage? Because on pure elemental damage (including volatile) it is a savage roll that is up to 110% increased monster damage.. and you can get multiple on the same map and still get savage for another 15-30% more dmg... |
