We NEED SSF standard/hc because it is logical to have it!

the fact there is right now (apparently) a ssf standard doesn't mean there will still be one after the league is over. there was NO official announcement on this important fact, and oh, they had enough chances to announce it instead of "news summaries". plus the fact I have (playing since open beta) NEVER received an official response from any ggg employee on feedback or suggestions. actually that is all I ever intended to get from starting threads on this forum, direct communication with the people who actually decide the things that happen in the game. cause it is useless to interact with the user base. people like shagsbeard prove that again and again... (time to finally write that blog article about how discussing on the internet is pointless because people don't follow the intrinsic rules of a discussion)

From the 2.6 patch notes:

"In Content Update 2.6.0, there are SSF versions of the existing leagues, where you can create characters by ticking a checkbox on the character creation screen."

There's your official announcement. It's pretty straight forward, no idea where you got the idea that this excludes Standard and Hardcore. They are leagues too.

Coupled with the fact there is no incentive to play SSF temp leagues in the first place (a leaderboard? only the 1% who actually appear on that care about leaderboards - that means 99% of players have no intrinsic incentive!!!) I am struggling to judge this an oversight caused by ggg's incompetent negligence of anything game design-related or pure malevolence against anybody daring not to play the way god-king wilson demands - spamming trade chat 24 hours a day whilst using external tools to conduct stone-age barter trade. A half-assed SSF is still better than none at all, you say? No, not at all. I'm still de facto forced to record my own footage to prove I legitimately e.g. found a rare unique, if not right now during the league then at least afterwards, the way it is now.

And don't answer with that inane "splitting the community even more" nonsense. That is not an argument. SSF people are not interested in trading/partying with you, whether they are in a common standard (which the loudmouth elitists don't care for in the first place - hypocrisy galore!) or a separated SSF standard.

I'm not asking for separate treatment for SSF, I'm just asking... for a permanent separation. Everything else would be illogical and a slap in the player's face on ggg's part. This is INFINITELY more important than any incessant balancing complain ever...
