We NEED SSF standard/hc because it is logical to have it!

What the title says. It is infinitely idiotic to let the player go to regular ass standard after spending 3 (4?) months as a solo self found character!

Coupled with the fact there is no incentive to play SSF temp leagues in the first place (a leaderboard? only the 1% who actually appear on that care about leaderboards - that means 99% of players have no intrinsic incentive!!!) I am struggling to judge this an oversight caused by ggg's incompetent negligence of anything game design-related or pure malevolence against anybody daring not to play the way god-king wilson demands - spamming trade chat 24 hours a day whilst using external tools to conduct stone-age barter trade. A half-assed SSF is still better than none at all, you say? No, not at all. I'm still de facto forced to record my own footage to prove I legitimately e.g. found a rare unique, if not right now during the league then at least afterwards, the way it is now.

And don't answer with that inane "splitting the community even more" nonsense. That is not an argument. SSF people are not interested in trading/partying with you, whether they are in a common standard (which the loudmouth elitists don't care for in the first place - hypocrisy galore!) or a separated SSF standard.

I'm not asking for separate treatment for SSF, I'm just asking... for a permanent separation. Everything else would be illogical and a slap in the player's face on ggg's part. This is INFINITELY more important than any incessant balancing complain ever...

What is this I don't even. Firstly there is an SSF standard league, a fact which you could easily have seen if you bothered to hover your mouse over the ladders button for a moment. Secondly the 15000+ people on the SSF legacy ladder disagree about the lack of incentive. Thirdly if you want to get a point across try to write less aggressively.

and how would I know?! like I said I would never even consider to look at a leaderboard because they have nothing to do with the average player! neither is the fact everybody plays ssf now proving anything - it's a new mode, of course everybody tries it out! the key word was intrinsic, by the way... that means something like "by itself". for example races: intrinsic reward alternative art items - non-intrinsic reward e.g. getting a top 100 rank. see what the difference is? one is given by the framework of the mode, one is given by what the player comes up with and perceives as something to strive for.

the fact there is right now (apparently) a ssf standard doesn't mean there will still be one after the league is over. there was NO official announcement on this important fact, and oh, they had enough chances to announce it instead of "news summaries". plus the fact I have (playing since open beta) NEVER received an official response from any ggg employee on feedback or suggestions. actually that is all I ever intended to get from starting threads on this forum, direct communication with the people who actually decide the things that happen in the game. cause it is useless to interact with the user base. people like shagsbeard prove that again and again... (time to finally write that blog article about how discussing on the internet is pointless because people don't follow the intrinsic rules of a discussion)

I don't understand why it matters so much. Surely the only person you have to appease is yourself, to whom are you having to prove that you self found a certain drop?

looking at the OPs characters achievements it looks like he started in SSF HC Legacy, ripped and went to normal standard. Which personally i think is fine. Why should Standard SSF be tainted with failed HC SSF characters ?

It has been confirmed that there are permanent ssf standard and hc. I know this because rather than ranting and raving, I simply asked GGG and that's what they said.....
