End game not in a temp league where currency drops, map rates are heavily nerfed and where the league is half dead within the first two weeks.

6L is not an end game at this point of the game This is not 2012. Its barely mid game End game is uber atziri , uber elder , - watcher eyes , shapers, guardians .

You do realise its sheer stupidity to white knight this? Can you give me one god dammed fucking good reason why we don't see a majority of the 80+ unique armors being used? 6Linking those armours will OMG will actually make unqique and fun builds viable for engame and not end up as cookie cutter trash.

Wait, what are you even trying to say here?

You've never spent more than 400f, so don't go crazy and splurge?! What do you think people are splurging on? If you're saying you 6L stuff within 400 fusings, you are asking people to be as lucky as you are, which really isn't something they can just "do".

And if you are asking people not to spend more than 400 to manually attempt and after 400, just use vorici's 1500 recipe, at that point, aren't you just better off using the 1500 recipe in the first place? It's not like 400 is a magic number that says "Oh if this hasn't linked by 400 fusings, the item is cursed, so better go to Vorici".

I'm not sure what you are trying to convey.

Personally the only things I 6L'ed myself was Soul Mantle in Legacy League (4000-4200 fusing) and my legacy RoTC (also 4000-4200 fusings). I've spend 8-8.5k fusing to get 2x 6L. After that I dont use Vorici. I dont 6L items myself. I dont buy 6L'ed unique as well. I just dont use unique chespiece at all. My last 20 builds used rare chespiece with ~120 life and 60-70 resists that you ca buy for 50c and I had no problems at all.

Don't 6L yourself when items that are already 6 linked are "cheap enough" (In comparison to buying thousands of fusings)! Especially if you are unlucky

I've never encountered a problem 6 Linking with such drastic amounts (5000+ fusings) such as the horror stories here, every league I have good luck, even this league:

If I had bad luck I'd never fuse gear myself :O

I feel your pain but how about struggling to get a 6socket 5link? I got in so deep that I had to keep going, and in the end buying one would have been way cheaper.

I bought a Mortis, spent 620+ jewlers to get 6 sockets... you should have seen my face... then I thought this nightmare surely is over... 220+ fusings for a 5 link. Then of course only a couple of chromes for the right colors.

I could have bought a 6s5l even with the right colors for 60c and I ended up paying 140-150c doing it this way. That was a massive chunk of my season wealth, I could have funded so many builds.
RNG is cruel, and I certainly wouldn't dream of actually going for a 6l. Sure, if I wasn't so outrageously unlucky I could have saved 10-20c, but in the end I think it's not worth it unless you are exceedingly rich.

My first 6 link almost crashed my game, game was stuttering hard core.
In thos days you used to quality item so it have better chances.
click 20 time for q, use fusing, time that with 1000 and you get good times...
