PoE and bots.

Dear GGG, PoE become very popular game and bots also become very actual.

I dont know what system you use to find and ban bots, but I read through support forum of this PoE bot, and I can see that your methods not good, many ppl run at least 2-3 bots per pc with impunity.

Also there is lots of guides how to setup this particular bot.
I watch many of bot video examples.

I learn a few things about this bot:

1: it rename itself nonstop, so its almost imposible to find it with processes scan.
2: It use game files to analyze map layout and find out mobs.
(I'm not sure if it open content.gbp to analyze map layout, I think it could capture packets from server which send inf about map and mobs and decode it with own resourses)


I strongly recomend you GGG to buy a copy of this bot and learn it to create a good anti bot system.
Please it is very important part of the game, bots kill economy! And this special bot is realy old one...
It is time to create antibot team.
I'm sure if you run antibot support pack many players (including me) buy it to help you invite good anti bot team.

Yeah, sure. And then, in the experimental phase in the laboratory, shit will happen and the bot will run wild and infest the servers. Haven't you watchedm movies ?!?

The least that could happen is someone in the office would get fired for botting.

I'm not telling they dont know, i'm telling its time to do something about it.
It is not so hard, get it, learn it, ban it.
Actually it is easy for programmers who know basics of bots.

Sry, im not sure what you mean, but ppl who use bots (enjoying the game) broke economy, they farm lots of chaos recipy and other low currency and then they sell it and exchange, by doing so they generate a greate impact on economy. If you are not ssf player bots are pain for you in terms of trading currency.

Simple example:

SC ligue ex:chaos ratio 1:70
HC ligue ex:chaos ration 1:20

But 1st week of the ligue this ration are pretty much similar like 1:15-20
Then bots comes (Specialy for sc, couse on hc I belive they dying and ppl who use bots playing sc) and ration on sc jump rapidly.

That's one of the things I realized only in this league. Chaos and Exalted prices went high way too fast.

That breaks the whole argument of "come and join a new league with a fresh and new economy" that they use to lure players.

After 1 week prices were just as high as the permanent SC.

Im not convinced this is caused by bots. Rather by flippers.
