I just cannot get rid of my stuttering issues.

Based on the hardware you run, your gaming experience should be fine. I run a 2500k with a 280x and while I have the usual DX 11 issues as most people do (blackouts, some effects causing driver crashes...), my 60FPS are steady.

Reading what you tried makes me wonder if you ever considered that your connection is running badly? Are you on wireless?

To me it seems like the necessary information just doesn't reach your screen in time, therefore you have those issues. That can be everything from a network problem, bad coding as with D3s engine (but then we all would have those issues), faulty hardware / bad OS setup.

Since you exchanged all your hardware and reinstalled drivers and windows, the network seems to be the only thing left.

I had a network issues several years ago and as soon a lot of data had to be progressed at the same time, I had those stutters. Keep in mind, this is something that is independent of your total speed, even a 12mbit + connection, can be affected by that. Therefore, check your cables, update the drivers for your mainboard (Ethernet adapter) and maybe ask your provider to run a diagnostic.

Also mods can cause these problems, but I don´t think POE has any mod support, does it?

I have the same issue with this game since the closed beta (!) and I just can not fix this.

I am talking about the sudden fps drops in big fights,or when fighting certain enemies (pretty much any boss in the game causes stutters for me)

Here is an example:

It frustrates me so much, because I really want to play the shit out of this game, but I always end up quiting the game because of those annoying fps spikes.

Here is some things I tried so far:

-Upgrading gpu (once from hd5770 to a r9 270 and now to a gtx 1060)
-upgrading cpu (from i5 4460 to i7 4790)
-updating driver
-switching to fullscreen/windowed fullscreen/windowed
- added --noasync and --waitforpreload
-tried out predictive/lockstep mode
-vsync on/off
-played without sound
-reinstalled windows
-installed game on ssd/hdd
-tried out multithreading on/off
-set prerendered frames to 2 in nvidia control

None of those things really helped and I am unsure if there is anything more I can do.

If you have anything in mind that might help, please let me know.

Same here...made a post aswell of this under extreme nervs and pressure , just swiched to win 10..mi specs are way over the top , ssd hdd, 8 gb ram , hd radeon 2gb 512 biti video . ISP is cheked ..i run 30 MB upload , if i downlaod smthing it goes with 20 25 mb a sec , i have giga lan 1000gb a sec .\

Bottom line is that this game runs acceptable on verry few surtain components , to put it a nother way would be to say that the game in curent state is FUKT UP and teribly optimized

The only thing I didnt exchange is my hdd, which is pretty old by now. I have the feeling that might be the problem. That or it really is my internet connection.

Here is a benchmark from my hdd, dont know if that tells anything:

And here and example of my internet, when opening a strongbox where I had a big stutter.

Its just weird because sometimes I think the game runs smoothly and then the next second I enter a big group and the game stutters like 5 times in 2 seconds.

2x titan x sli
i7 6700k
32 GB RAM DDR4
NVIDIA SURROUND( 7680 X 1440) playing single screen though
windows 10 64 bit

stuttering makes this game unplayable, i limited my framerate and still nothing, v sync on off and all that stuff, still stutters every 6 seconds
@sablegrimm: drop the SLi. it always brings only problems
GGG Patch Notes: "Fixed an unwanted interaction where players had fun playing the game"

that didnt work, nothing seems to be working to fix this problem
One thing that used to help some folks, that I didn't notice when skimming through this thread, was to run with minimal services and, if that corrects the problem, enable services one at a time until you figure out what process is causing a problem.

Usually, the reason this works, is that some background service is interacting negatively with PoE. It worked for a bunch of folks in the past, and may be worth a shot if you haven't already tried it.

HERE is a quick guide ( from the Blizzard forums ) on how to do this. Just in case you weren't sure how.
