Unfortunately, this will never happen because the team which made D1/D2 is gone. The remaining Blizzard guys are basically WoW kids who don't really understand what made D1/D2 so great.

Regarding the topic of this thread: Candy Crush Saga had 46 million active players on facebook in 2013, I guess it must be the best game ever, huh?

Blizzard bought Candy Crush (their parent company) for almost 6 billion somewhat recently.
Considering Star Wars sold for only 4 billion I'm pretty sure Blizzard things Candy Crush is something special.

Candy Crush is an Amazing one of the greatest games you can find "FOR MOBILE" especially those with low end smart phones.

Candy Crush is used in the work place to kill time when the employer isn't looking.

Candy Crush has its benefits due to it being so portable. You guys are sitting here thinking its trash why would you play it heck even I don't play it.

But when you are at work and you have no other way to be unproductive and phones aren't allowed in the work place, its the best game.

But really stop compare D3/Poe , both of them are great games but different and really don't care about players actually played to D3/Poe , i think they are enough to make both live.

Steam is fine for STEAM REQUIRED GAMES.

It definitely is special, at least in terms of being able to make a lot of money with a simple product. Why should one develop a game over the course of 5-10 years and invest a lot of money if you can just milk all the casuals with a simple game for smartphones?

I played diablo3 because I wanted to play a Diablo2 sequel. But it was a scam so I searched for an other hack and slash and found POE which was the real Diablo2 sequel. Too bad they added Labyrinth, have to find something else now...
