Pay to Convenience = YES It's not pay to win because people can "win" (reach end game) without paying anything, but it's not convenient though compare to people who buy tabs. "A game IS supposed to waste your time but it's not supposed to make you FEEL like you're wasting your time:

Between 2 players of equal skill and dedication who are willing to trade, the one that has premium tabs will have a clear advantage. I just wish GGG would just stick to cosmetic MTX.

" NO. Why? Because the money from buying stash tabs along all the MTX keeps the game alive and brings new content regularly unlike most games today. It is a free game. They need income from something. If you spend ONLY what you would pay for a CE of any AAA game you could buy all the stash tabs you could ever need. If you are a serious player like I am (over 3.5k hours on steam + a year or so before that when I was not linked) spending this much for your enjoyment should not be an issue. If it is you need to reassesses your life choices and way of thinking. Note hat this does not make the game P2W in any way: if you can clear all content without any purchase it's not P2W. " I don't have an issue with supporting GGG, I actually have bought premium tabs and get what people are saying about a slight advantage to them. If cosmetics were cheaper, maybe I would buy those too, but since they're not that means that people ARE buying them so money is coming in for GGG regardless. I'm not saying that this game is P2W, but stating that if you can beat all content it's not is debatable because it's possible to build a house foundation with a spoon but most people will want a buldozer. |

This game is certainly pay to win. There is no need for the word "becoming" in the thread title. The thread title should read "POE is a Pay to Win Game."
People who buy additional stash tabs, premium stash tabs, currency stash tabs, map stash tabs, divination stash tabs, essence stash tabs, fragment stash tabs, etc. definitely have a massive advantage over others who do not buy anything. That point is so obvious that it cannot be reasonably debated. |

" Except for the part there is no actual 'winning' in this game. Because let's be honest, except for the handful of streamers that compete for level 100 everyone else can just play the game the way they feel like it. And last time I checked, you can still easily do that with the free starting tabs. That's why PoE has always been, and still is, pay for convenience. Nothing more.
