You should be able to facetank the majority of bosses. I'd usually pop all my unique flasks at the beginning of a boss fight and it's enough. If a particular boss is located in a separate room I'd also swap Increased AoE for Concentrated Effect and it makes boss fights incredibly easy.

I designed this build for it to be my league starter, so I guess my answer is yes. Also, a complete guide should be up as soon as 2.3 patch notes are released and I get a confirmation this build remained viable.

It only grants buff to physical DoT which doesn't benefit poison. Also, we don't need additional chance to bleed enemies. Bloodletting is not worth it IMO.

I just got a litte bit receous because of the 3 required uniques and the rumi's, but problably it will be my league starter too :D . But i still have a question, what are the defensive mechanics of the build? Most reave builds i see use a shield, anvil and some block nodes, and here the focus is major on damage

You get decent block and spell block (60%+ after Rumi's), then you get 5 e-charges, Arctic Armor and Fortify.

With the 2.3 tree being released I can say that if anything, Gladiator got buffed. Which means that I'll start working on a complete guide within the next couple of days.
