Whirling Blades not working

You guys are acting as if allowing two simultaneous attacks is the only option. I remember watching a video by a D3 dev about how they dealt with this exact problem. I don't remember their ultimate solution but I don't recall D3 ever having this problem after launch and I don't think they are letting people use two attacks at the same time either.

At the very last the command could be queued instead of lost.

Alternatively, the devs could consider actually making this effect an intentional penalty for misclicking for balance reasons. WB is already by far the best movement skill in combat so penalties for making mistakes would be completely reasonable.

Right....I'm not saying I don't understand that. But it is pretty clunky and can be annoying.

Can you even imagine how many things would break in the game if you could do two attacks at the same time?

Don't respond to me like I'm brain dead. Of course not. But this games terrible latency...input lag w/e the fuck is wrong with it + the animation of the attack combines with the fact you " can't use 2 attacks at once" and makes for clunky happenings. I mean as soon as I'm done attacking as far as I'm concerned as soon as I press Whirling Blades it should bloody well do it. This is often not the case.

I hope you're following me. I'm not asking to " do two attacks at once".

Or do you want it to 'remember' what skill you pressed, and then implement that once it is able to?

I want this from day one.
Alt Art items as League MTX - When?

Hold down the button for whirling blades. You will use it as soon as your character finishes attacking with spectral throw.

The game is ignoring your commands because you're not finished with the skill you're using. Get more attack speed if you don't like where you are.

This exactly. Holding down the button is the best solution imo and getting more attack speed helps ALOT

And you also perform WB faster if you point your cursor closer to your character. This is because WB has a range and the farther you dash the longer it takes. You can simply test it in your hideout or when moving around a map.

So I'm getting really annoyed that when im casting Spectral Throw and i try to use Whirling Blades to move away quickly like 30-40% of the time the game just completely IGNORES the WB command.

I understand that what's likely happening is that the game wont allow you to input 2 attacks at the same time (when i hit WB the EXACT same time that ST is casting) but how the fuck am I supposed to reliably get out of danger? In most cases this isnt a huge issue - but theres sometimes like fighting Atziri for instance where you get like .05 seconds to get out of the way of her flameblasts and if the game ignores my WB command once - im dead.

Its REALLY frustrating that the game just wont CONSISTENTLY recognize the inputs Im giving it.

Support Gem> Interrupt: attacks and spells linked to Interrupt execute regardless of whether or not you are attacking or casting, terminating those actions if you are. Supported gems have a cooldown of 2 seconds. Supported Gems attack and cast speed durations are reduced by [20,60] percent.
