Enduring cry makes me hate playing a melee

the word cry in the skill name seems to be well chosen.
Advice on how to use enduring cry (maxed):

*Use 2 or more enduring cry spells on your hotbar

*Get passive ignore movement penalty from armour

*Use a fast moving harmless monster to follow you around and use him to recharge charges between fights

Remember, 7 charges equals 35% damage reduce and 35% elemental resistance, it needs to come at a price, besides it adds flavour to the build since it requires a fast pace play style.

More: always have atleast 1 quicksilver flask in your belt, this is basics.

im just a decoy totem that can move...
After reading this, I started using 2 Enduring Cry gems. Thank you for that tip, it was been working extremely well.

id say the price is that its almost mandatory that you have to use them where as the other charges frenzy and power are a choice

also after the revamp the ignore movement penalty is now in leather and steal as the last node so 6 point to get it now vs one point before

really wish they would just fix defensive stats to work and then change enduring cry to something like - crit dmg on you and + life % or something

I'd still like to see it with a much longer duration
Its not like it would get stronger, because its just making it less annoying to keep up
Enduring Cry has no duration. But yeah, I wouldn't mind seeing the charges last a little while longer. Or rather, I wish there were more options for increasing their duration.

Well, if you people bypass the low duration and get all the benefits while you don´t need to macro your skills there would be skill drawback that´s negating the skill itself. You could just make enduring cry a buff. A system that gives you an reasonable advantage should always be a little "troublesome" in my opinion.
What can never be lent or earned?
Somewhat, that devours everyone and everything:
A tree that rush. A bird that sings. It eat bones and smite the hardest stones.
Masticate every sword. Shatters every shrine. It defeat mighty kings and carry mountains on lightly wings.
What am i?
I would say that Enduring Cry is a bit more difficult to use and sustain. Frenzy and Power Charge can get the charges relatively quicker as it's an attack. It's a joke getting Frenzy Charges for my ranger. It's a pain getting Endurance charges for my marauder. Enduring Cry requires you to get somewhat close to the enemy and then cast the spell. For most melee characters, that means when you cast the Enduring Cry, you start getting hit because the cast time on Enduring Cry is 0.7 sec which is enough time for you to start getting pummeled. Obviously you can cast from a bigger distance, but oftentimes I find myself recasting enduring cry while still in close range (to get more charges and keep my duration up). It's frustrating to say the last.
Tried armor...sucked. Tried evasion...sucked. Tried a mix of both...did not suck so hard but...oh well.
Stacked ridiculous amounts of HP...win.

Just get standard armor, standard evasion, max resists and MOAR life, forget about endu charges.
