This. Atziri Shield alt art is AMAZING. And so rare! Would not be surprised if those who have are not even playing PoE anymore making this item almost impossible to get. I think only the top 20 from race Season 1 got this.

Kripparrian is the only person that has one.

It is the most expensive, while the rarest(excluding race/pvp uniques that list Rank # Placed in Flavor Text, corruptions, etc.) would be season 1 PVP alternate art Dream Fragments (1000 points)
Only 4 of those exist.

Well, the thread title says EXPENSIVE, not RAREST... So it's also a matter of demand, not just supply.

Alternate art items can be very rare, but not all that expensive, if the demand for them isn't supreme. This would be especially so given that alt art items really only to transfer their skin to something else.

Similarly, anything that could be mirrored can be counted as "still dropping," as mirrors can be counted towards their drop rate.

That's why I feel, in the end, the most valuable item would still have to be a good enough "corrupted" item. If only Vaals could give +1 skills on ANY item, then it'd be easy: a +4 skills staff. Hell, even without the other uber-mods, you might see a lot of people Vaal'ing staves with just 6L and +3 skills, as the +4/6L combination could very well be worth more than a mirror alone.

Like the other guy said 4 tits mirror shield is still a shit item putting mtx doesn't magical make it better
