Well many ppl dont play inbtween leagues bc they dont want to feel burned out. They played their asses of during the 4 month league and take a breather. Standard league is enjoyable as well, for me at least. I am proud of my summoner and his gear and will cont to play standard. Temp league economy only remains stable for a month or so. Then shit hits the fan as bots and RMT begin catching up. Near the end the prices are the same as in standard league. So over all you are qqing that u dont have over 100 exa saved up and no mirror items. Well guess what neither does 98% of the ppl who play this game. You dont need legacy items and you dont need mirror items to beat Atziri. Uber is a different story. But as you see, its the same ppl beating her over and over again. If they want to go to 3rd party website and buy Currency and items let them. They might get ban they might not get ban. But it looks like they are not bc they 3 mirrored items and amazing gear within 2 months of playing.

I have been playing on and off since Open Beta and have yet to see an Eternal or Mirror drop. Ive played iir/iiq champs as well as non. But i dont care. I am enjoying the game maybe you should try it sometime. just not give a fuck if someone has OP gear. More power to them. So going back to the main reason I am here is bc your idea is not a good one.

In my guild ppl play HC, do races and play temp league all at the same time. Have you tried that. Adding more league makes no point. When you have the Option of playing between 4 leagues already as well as trying out races.

The biggest problem with what you suggest is a further separation of the existing player base. Standard is standard for a reason. Its where all things go do die, not just players but legacy items, removed item mods, etc, etc.

Moving current standard to Legacy would not only be a major slap in the face to all the players that choose to make it their home because they like permanency, but would also set a precedence for how Standard is to be handled in the future. In a few years time, now many new standards would need to be made and how would they marry legacy leagues.

A better solution, completely wiping standard, would be just as unrealistic/detrimental. Standard is standard, and that should never change.

standart is good with legacies, that makes standart special... if you cant handle people have better items than you, go play moba or fps

No, Standard is already the dumpster league.

Sides, come next expansion, we would have to wipe again, because balance will change.

I'd rather keep the challenge leagues at 4 months, maybe even longer, and have, at most, 2-3 days between end of challenge league, start of new league.

This month long break between leagues is a real killer. It's like a month long downtime in WoW.

A new permanent softcore league would've been awesome.

As for me, I do not have the play time to accomplish something in 3 months, but I hate the idea that standard is a dumpster league.

Let the poor souls that can't play without their over powerd legacy item have their "standard league", and let everyone else play in a permanent, non-dumpster soft core league.

Standard is fine for me. I have a life only play like 10-20 hrs a week and just started beating atziri regularly after ambush league ended. My empower gems are still at 2. have no 20/20 gems but almost. For me leauges would run 6 months because I didnt get everything dne in last 4 month league. See everyone is different.

Oh another good thing about standard is my clan mates give me shit because they dont use them anymore...they are too busy with new leagues lol
