Drop rate problem (of the good stuff)

Wow you guys really don't get it do you?

The point of the new crafting options is to make players having to depend LESS on trading. It rebalances trade on one side more with drops and crafting on the other side

You're like this:

You're a really hungry child. So you call mommy and ask (demand) her to bring food.
She says: I'll be home in an hour to bring you something really nice.
What you do is to tell everybody about how you mommy is abusing you for not making food instantly spawn on your table.

It would me more like this: you enjoy an amazing car but the engine is not to your taste which prevents you from enjoying it fully. The manufacturer gives you an opportunity to tell them what you think about it.

You explain the problem you feel about the engine and what they do is change the color, add better wheels and a much better GPS. On top of it other customers come to you and say "hey stfu, I like the engine so I don't want to hear from you".

Sounds more like it?

No, the point of new crafting is to make you pay with more currency so you can get no rng crafting. The currency drop rates are already balanced around trading and economy, everyone knows that. As devs said you are paying little more to be 100% sure you craft something, and that my man means is not less depending on trading. It is as i said, other more expensive option for crafting that is more expensive on average than trying your luck with rng.

Also pleas dont try to make some analogy and stories if you want to discuss this for real

So you want better drops but are not realizing that your drops will be better in the expansion.

How? Because you can now actually make good use of all the orbs you find. Because you can now take that rare that misses 1 mod and make it good by yourself.

What?! How do the new crafting options prevent you from RNG crafting???

And how the hell do the new crafting options not mean that players depend less on crafting???

Like I said: You can now actually make good use of those orbs you would usually stack for trading and use them to create good items yourself. Equals less depending on trading...

Yes crystal clear, because you find the game too unrewarding while ignoring the announced expansion that will make it more rewarding.

Just hold your horses and first give it a serious try before shouting more drops. And what kind of stupid suggestion is "good balanced drops" anyway. If you can't even post a serious suggestion for drops how should GGG take you serious and not as some casual D3 player who is used to linear progression and just doesn't understand the concept?

Did you read my post at all? Where did I said RNG crafting is prevented?

If you make adding one mod on item that drops (that actually needs to be a good drop in first place, and that is the problem OP want to be fixed) expensive, you do not change anything. Not even talking about the fact that GGG will not do anything to make the game less trade centric in the first place. Thats why the prices for crafting will be expensive , because GGG doesnt want the new crafting to be better than RNG one (and they are making it so that it is expensive and that rolls on them are also not best of best).

If you dont understand that and what GGG is saying fine, but will not post more about crafting as it is little offtopic because you need good drop to use new crafting in first place

No, they're not. They're balanced off of the minimum you're willing to accept. Trading and the economy are, at best, an indirect factor into that calculation.
When Stephen Colbert was killed by HYDRA's Project Insight in 2014, the comedy world lost a hero. Since his life model decoy isn't up to the task, please do not mistake my performance as political discussion. I'm just doing what Steve would have wanted.

"

The item "should" be a good drop? If you say that you don't understand the concept of the game. What is a good drop anyway, wouldn't that depend on many many factors?

Adding one mod on an item is not expensive at all? Have you ever beat normal difficulty?

They do change the game and bring trade more in balance with drops and crafting, because players WILL use the new crafting options. Because they need it, melee builds want to craft life on all their gear without have to search Poe.xyz for life gear. Just an example.

And what do you mean "GGG doesnt want the new crafting to be better as RNG crafting? There is no better, it's DIFFERENT.

Man you can't be serious. This has to be a joke. Am I being trolled, ready to get on TV or something?!

I keep telling you one thing and you keep telling me the expansion will resolve it. I am not ignoring it, I am saying I would like to see more good drops of weapons and armor items than there actually is, which is NOT something the new expansion is addressing. It is making it more rewarding, I understand, but by ANOTHER mean and that's NOT what I am talking about.

Crafting is NOT what I ask in the first place. EVEN THOUGH it might be fun and cool I am talking about DROPS. Not CRAFTING, DROPS.

I mean, how can I make it clearer than this?! And just because you don't feel the same way means I'm wrong?! how more close minded can you be?!
