21 hour mute?

Don't use homophobic or racial slurs... it's as simple as that. An expletive here and there is okay, game's essentially rated M and the devs have acknowledged that, but that doesn't mean it's okay to use sexual and racial slurs.

Because it was supposed to be 24 hours in the first place? Mods seem to do a small one first, then review the infraction then put in place the proper mute time.

" JoannaDark's point was that they don't know what your in-game name is. Hence, they don't know if it's offensive, but presumably you would because you created it. 24hours actually seems reasonable to me, if it gets you to not do it again. You were in the wrong by using such a slur and now you are being punished. You have no right to cry or complain about it to us, the users, for your actions as though you are the victim here. If you wish to take it up with support you have every right to appeal the decision that was made. Until than you, will need to deal with it.

" There's a Terms of Service you agreed upon before playing the game. It's mandatory that you click the I Agree button to do so. If you can't distinguish from the ToS what's offensive and what's not then I don't think anyone here can help you understand. |

I could make an actual offensive name in my very own language but if I'm the only one who understands it, does it equate to a punishment? Look guys, for the last time. I am not asking the 21 hour punishment to be removed. I've already waited out more than half of it. I just want someone to explain why I got it in the first place. Going all preachy with your "hurr bad words is bad" and "read the ToS" really isn't explaining anything I am not asking for it to be removed I know bad words are bad Just tell me why 10 minutes remaining got extended to 21 hours? |
