21 hour mute?

Already asked a couple of GMs in-game but they never replied back
I got muted for 1 hour for saying "gold is for fags" when someone asked on world chat why there weren't any gold currency I waited out that mute for 40 minutes before I got bored and closed the client. Try to keep the chat clean and mature, and you'll avoid any possible bans :]

I'm aware of similar problems happening due to offensive names too.
PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds.
Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! MFers found strength in their Afflictions. They became reliant on them. I am not so foolish. |

I suppose the moral of this tale is to avoid offensive names and language. No chance of mysterious mute-time increases if you don't get muted in the first place, right? ;)

Offensive names, insults, racial and / or sexist slurs / names, can result in a mute, which can vary in time. Sometimes you will not be unmuted until the name is resolved (if this was the case).

Chat mods don't seem to put up with homophobic slurs.
