I've always thought that GGG's price are far to high and that they would sell much more if their prices were lower.

I'm weird...for example, I wont buy a single premium stash tab at $4 but I'd buy 20-30 if they were $1.

For me a Microtransaction is $1 or less. :-)

u "wont" spend 4$ for a tab, but you are a diamond supporter.... strange

Well that's different being a supporter means giving a donation because we like what GGG is doing and hopefully with our support they can keep doing it. Well yea you get points for you donation but that's just extra and for most of us doesn't really matter

And I bet most people buy "supporter" packs, because they are buying a product first and supporting GGG second, and it doesn't matter what a few people say about them wanting to support GGG at the end of the day they are selling a product.

The prices are optimized for maximum profits.

I highly doubt that.

Then every f2p game out there is doing it wrong? I doubt that :P Even WoW uses a similar pricing and that's not a f2p game.

I think it's easier to get 100 people to buy something for 100 dollars than to get 10000 people to buy something for 1 dollar.
GGG banning all political discussion shortly after getting acquired by China is a weird coincidence.

Well, at first they price MTXes high because the game is sparsely populated. Now more people came in but they can not lower the price or release cheaper MTXes because they need to account for players buying expensive MTXes earlier.

If they did release cheaper MTXes, people would think the price can get even cheaper. So they won't bother buying too soon because they believe there will be better and cheaper MTXes coming up.
gotta make a bit of moni before everyone deserts the game , thats how these models work usually.

In the past they adjusted the prices by reducing, so I'm not sure if this is really a issue.

You do realize mxt come from the artist working right?

last i checked, artists also had a paycheck.

only if the said artist get royalties on each mxt bought. If not, he allready got paid long ago and don t earn anything from it anymore.
Forum pvp
Surely everyone understands these are merely opening offers and you are meant to make a counter offer? It's a BARTER economy people!

Sheesh, bad enough that these days the forums are full of people who think their shitty, low level MTXs are worth 10 exalts.
So there we have it, i think most people here agree the prices are too high.
I myself agree on this. I have purchased some points purely because i felt a bit bad playing this game for free when i was enjoying it so much.

I would love to buy more but i just cant agree on the prices, they are not reasonable imo.

Well, most people are not filthy rich so of course they'd always like lower prices :P

I dont care about candy effects, because they are really optional, but stash tabs are too expensive imo, especially since they are borderline P2W.

I would actually buy more of them, if they were cheaper (netting more income to GGG)
