" They are doing something right if it only last them a year or two. I still have a computer from 2008 that is still incredible (eventually will need an upgrade in the video card), and will continue to work for another four years. The computer only cost me almost $700. If I wanted to buy a MacPro for $2500, it better last me over a decade. The RAM should be at least 16GB, HDD should at least be 3TB, at least 5GHz, over 7000MB in dedicated video memory for gaming, and all the USB ports are 3.0. If only a few do not reach my requirement, I find it a huge ripoff. (Don't take this too seriously, I just find it crazy that MAC sells a computer at a price which I can find something almost exactly like it at 1/4 of the price with Windows) Other than that, to each own on how fast they want to dump money in the toilet. ;) Sometimes you can take the game out of the garage but you can't take the garage out of the game. - raics, 06.08.2016 Dernière édition par JohnNamikaze#6516, le 4 déc. 2012 à 14:06:29

After playing around with Windows 8 and having it crash on me multiple times and hearing nothing amazing about it from anyone I know that has been using it I decided to give the Macbook Pro a shot. Can't say I have been disappointed yet and I have the July 2012 edition (if you want to look up specs.)
As to the OP: If you go to the FAQ at the top of this Forum I have added the v3 Mac OS port done by Julus and have the directions to install it in the FAQ as well (might be at the bottom.) You could also just run bootcamp and install windows (which I also plan on doing) and go at it that way. Once you download the game you have to open it and then drag the PoE icon into your applications folder and that should be about it. EDIT: Also if you can get to the V3 post by Julus you can go to the back page or two of the post and find out how to change the wineskin engine if you are having problems. Same here. Will be bootcamping my Win7 onto here this weekend maybe, just depends on how much time I have in between studying for finals. The touchscreens on the Windows 8 Laptops is nice but 3 crashes/lockups in a couple hours is too much for my taste. Personal experience is personal experience and mine may very well differ greatly from others.
