Crit Chance and Crit Damage is pretty much how you can get extremely high numbers.

Get your ES nodes covered then get nothing but crit and spell damage.

Though discharge is highly inflated by the cast speed mod, if you look there's no way I can cast 1.67 casts per second, it needs to be reduced to 1 cast.

Power charges was pretty useless for me, I mainly went around blasting everything with frenzy and endurance charges ... why, ... because you have to cast atleast 7 times to get 7 power charges ... which I would only do to one shot bosses.

I'm guessing you didn't look at my screen shot properly or you haven't thought about it all that much or hard enough at all, I only had 6 charges, and void battery is terrible for low - life discharge as frenzy and endurance charges is your main damage source. As it is so inconvenient to build power chaVolls Protector based discharge is a different matter and you would want power charges and I guess a void battery would be good for it if you get to 8 charges.

Yet another person mislead by the misconception of needing a void battery to get high damage.

If you are truly serious about this pursuit you better get started on finding them mirrors, the wand by Nolo and shield by Ventor are good starters in gear requirements :P

The void battery may not be "needed" to get high damage, but for what I'm doing I think it's the highest damage wand. I could use redbeak and get 100% extra damage or use void battery and get 140% with 8 charges plus some crit.
I've also considered searing touch but as it's mainly good for endurance dischargers I don't think it'd be as good as a void battery for crit discharge tooltip.
If all goes well maybe I can hit 2m. If I use 2 void battery's does the bonus stack? 280% damage at 8 charges?
As for the pieces you mentioned they would have to be better than 140% damage in those slots to be useful for this trial.

build and gear? :) only 67k here with caped crit and ats.
