Being the richest player and/or the person who plays the most doesn't mean you're the most knowledgeable on the game. I'm sure there's people who know much more than Kripparrian.

Regardless, this wasn't a discussion against Kripp. I merely made the statement that solo/self-found is the only way to go.

Not taking sides, but in solo races, I believe you can't trade/party with any other player, correct? So in solo races where he did good, it was all himself.

On topic: No idea who the best player is. Probably some one you don't know.

They will never whine about desync. Probably never try for the top of the ladders.

But most importantly, if they post on the forums it will always be helpful, well thought out, and correct. If they post about a problem in the game, it will be true bugs and glitches.

Kripp doesn't accept free stuff from his viewers, that's for sure. But they clearly build his wealth.
How ? They are the one buying any ilvl 75-79 items he's selling whereas any other player struggles to sell any of these.
They also help him convert his currency whenever he needs for more than fair prices.
Or they simply buy his stuff when he's selling. A random player trying to go through the normal means (forum, ingame chat) wouldn't do nearly as well.

I'm not saying it's the ONLY way he gets currency. But noone can deny being a streamer helps him a lot.

Whoever has the most $$$ and time. They often come hand in hand.
