Still, i doubt there are 35k active players, even if Chris said it, I don't believe it. Do I want to believe it? hell ya! but no, just no.

Secondly, (not directed at you) the players saying PoE has more than D3 are just very stupid and are fanboys.

I don't like D3, but a lot of people still do and that game has TONS more players than PoE will ever have, simply for the IP name alone. Don't get your hopes up, D3 will always have more, even if it is bad and not as fun.

This talking about players quitting the game and this "who still plays it" shit is very well known from the offocial blizzard forums. Kids and haters are on mass here and there. That are the same people. They whine and cry and badmouth elsewhere, so why not here aswell?

PoE > D3, it is superior. Its not imo, it is a simple fact.

Ehh. I see low-level (well, even lower than me - lol) folks grubbing for items in chat all the time. Someone was mentioning that they didn't see that often anymore, earlier in the thread; it's a bit early in the game's life for hysteria, people.

I think that large fluctuations in a beta's playerbase are inevitable, both from unhappiness with balance changes and annoyance with glitches (or annoyance at glitches having been fixed). Every other beta I know of had similar issues. That is why it's a beta, you know.

Speaking as a new player, I'm quite pleased by GGG busting up obviously over-used builds. We'll see if I think that later...
