It would be nice to know if the AOE buffs do actually affect the area of Consecrated Ground, the creater of the original unique it was introduced in, Zahndethus didn't even know that. Would have to ask a Dev I guess, but as you can see the aura is being spread everywhere combat would happen for a melee character already.

Doing the combination you said would result in massive amounts of life regen, I've been leveling up Vitality aura, but not a Rejuvenation totem, may have to give it a shot and see how high I can get the regen.

might seem good on paper but what kills you (or atleast me) in PoE are instant burst, and 5% regen wont save you from that, it would be a nice extra asset for some people but not game changing, or something to build around.

I totally agree with you about the burst damage being the major killer, this support would help if you took a big hit and didn't die, as you regenerate your life two times faster than normal and could get back up to a level that means you survive the next hit.

Combine this with instant health pots and you'll be much safer than if you did it without the aura. I found my support wander felt much more tanky going from 30 HP/s to 170 HP/s meaning I could actually start soloing areas I couldn't before.

Now I am wondering how this would work with a crit cyclone build, would Consecrated Ground spread along the entire distance of the spin? Will have to look into that...

I've thought of a healer class before, but since I don't play in parties (lap top can't handle that) I never tried actually doing it. I did see a class that had like 95% chance to crit using elemental hit, wands, additional accuracy (all with quality). That stuff + this ring + the chest piece that has a chance to create consecrated ground on block + rejuvenation totem = crazy healing.

Hope a dev or some other player could shed some light on the synergy with increased aoe then.
As you pointed out, the ground effect is already spread out where combat happens, so more aoe may be superfluous without being more practical. But it'll sure look cool! :P Imagine a cleric who walks into a map and blesses entire screens with healing auras...

Its also true that its the burst damage that is the killer. However, having more regen is extremely useful too and I'm sure many rejuvenation totem users will attest to that.

If you do try out the rejuvenation totem and vitality, mind if you could show a video of it pls? I'm really interested to see how effective this combo will be. :)
