Kripparrian is playing poe!!!!

I was here before Kripp and will be here after him. Only 3 games interest me in the future: PoE, Baldur's Gate Enhanced Edition and Legends of Dawn and only PoE is arpg with online element. No reason to quit it ever while servers are still operational.

I have been watching a lot of Kripp lately. Normally I don't watch streams, but he is actually pretty nice. I have learned a lot, and he's happy to share his knowledge. I can't seriously see, why people would hate him. It's a stream for people who takes these kind of games serious.

If Kripp still reads this thread: Thanks Kripp for a great stream!

People esp D3 haters hate him before because he was basically whoring D3.
People esp PoE haters (insert: D3-5$-fanboys) hate him now because he is the ambassador of PoE and, more importantly, having genuine fun, playing it.

Since Kripp is currently leading the week long HC race, felt like appropriate time to revive this thread:)

I've first heard about Kripp when he started D3, and liked the guy because of his laid back attitude and very analytical approach to the game. His HC Inferno clear was a real feat as back then inferno was hard as hell.

Glad to see him still playing PoE, his up to 100k subscribers on YT, so it can only help to have him post PoE videos.

Fair enough re: the reviving. Keeps all the kripp-chatter to one place.

I won't lie: I'm not the world's biggest fan of his fanbase, but I also appreciate, having had a fan or two in my time, that sometimes you can't really choose who chooses to venerate you, or indeed claims to represent you.

And Kripp's game is one of popularity and proliferation. This doesn't leave much room for exclusivity or particularly high standards as regards viewership.

I feel that sometimes clashes with PoE's existing 'niche' status and our perhaps erroneous hope as locals that Path of Exile is complex enough to attract the right people *and* deter the wrong. What defines right and wrong? Well, that's much harder to pin down, although even we moderators wish 'don't be an arsehole' could be the first rule of Path of Exileclub.

Be that all as it may, I am well aware that Kripp has, intentionally or otherwise, brought some really fucking awesome people to Wraeclast, and for that, he has my very deep respect and appreciation.

Yep Kripparian has awesome personality. He is well respected from my point of view aswell. But i also like Charan very much, he is such polite Forum Moderator.


And i still love Elynole's avatar :P :=)

We are all Kripps here, he just has more time to play

By the way I am back, long story short:

1. Got into PoE beta, played 2 weeks, lots of fun
2. D3 came, went there, played until got bored, Blizzard sucks hard
3. Back here

This game is much better than D3 overall (it just needs some better graphics)

I'm more of a Charan. Very different approach to the game, and to gaming in general.

I probably have as much time to play as Kripparrian does, I just don't really care to spend it the same way.
