[Feedback] All Roads Lead to Crit

It's just the Devs being inept at basic game design again.

Base Crit Multi should be 150% that is x1.5, perhaps even lower depending on the game. You never do double damage when character Critical Chance can be heavily modified. It's really that basic.

Old RPGs including AD&D did x2 because you couldn't modify Crit Chance much, if at all so it was just a fun flavor thing. Not a legitimate build mechanic. That's why 3.5 damage went out of control.

Pretty much agree with this take.

if you look on POE ninja, Blood mage and Oracle are the top 2

people are gravitating towards the most overpowered cast on crit builds in the game.

A lot of the root cause is the Ascendancies, reaching 100% crit, to cast on crit with comet.

It's a no brainer. It's being exploited.

Storm weaver has a nice little crit chance boost in the ascendency, but even then, sorceress is less powerful than druid for crit, while druid is using sorceress spells.

Storm weaver has to commit everything into crit, crit gloves, crit helmet, every crit passive point, it's still a fraction as good as Druid for the same use case.

I'm not interested what so ever in chasing the latest exploit, rolling my face on my keyboard to clear maps like im max level in megabonk.

I got this game a few months ago to playtest actual GAMEPLAY and try everything out.

I would highly suggest GGG nerf the **** out of exploits because it just looks bad on them and the gameplay is comical at that point.

Maybe they need to rework the Ascendencies, Passive Tree, Spirit mechanics, Skill gems.

Something has to change, cast on crit, cast on ailment, cast on invocation simultaneously, is an absolute abomination. How do you not get bored and question why you even play the game at that point.

Literally gode mode when playing bloodmage + crit builds.

Critical hit chance shouldn't exceed 49% max value otherwise with a spesific uniques is God mode!
