2 OP Mobs

-The Abyssal cold green death ray mob-
I don't know what else to call it. This mob can 1 shot even the most powerful players from off screen. the range is incredible. It's too small, and hard to see among other mobs. why is an abyssal mob also doing extreme cold damage? have you ever had to face them 2v1? It's not fun, they killed me 4 times in a row right when I respawned. This mob is even more daunting than a boss. They could be more telegraphic, there is a way to fight them. Sometimes you're not in an open space so there is very little to no counter play. -The Eternal Knight Mob- This Tanky beast can 1 burst you with green skulls. It can fire green skulls at you like a machine gun. those green skulls do massive damage. Its very tanky and does massive damage. The gameplay when fighting against them can become a long game of dodge and hit. It's best to just cheese them but its not fun or challenging. If they can be so tanky at times, might as well make them bigger. I wish the green skulls were gone and replaced by something else. I think if its base version became a healer mob instead, that would be more interesting. -please comment with feedback about these mobs and your encounters with them. I just spent over 15 minutes circling around 3 rare Eternal knights, lightning bolt and dodging them also casting elemental weakness, I have my lightning penetration filled, +6 lvl staff, the gameplay against this mob is very frustrating and annoying.
They deflect my lightning bolt even though it comes from the sky i guess its considered a projectile. I killed the boss on the map within 1 minute, but the Eternal Knight is really that much of pain to deal with and risks getting me killed 10 times more than the boss. I really don't enjoy circling around them and doing the same thing for 15 minutes straight. |

I find it weird that the green death ray can go through (some?) walls, if you're standing behind something that should block it, it should block it. But it also seemed inconsistent, so it might just be a weird bug or something.
They telegraph okay, but it's too easy to miss if a lot of other stuff is going on. And in Abyss, it is lol. The Eternal Knights... I get where their design is coming from, and okay! They seem like an enemy type that should be fine... but. They really only work if no/few other enemies are around. Which is never the case. They're a problem in groups. "Some call him a genius. Others, a monster. The truth is usually somewhere in between.
Me? I say power like his comes with a cost... and it's never the one wieldin' it who pays." - Delwyn, re: Doryani |

Eternal Knights are always the last ones standing, even then they are extremely dangerous and the skulls have no limit to how quickly they can shoot. With the waystone mod that makes mobs fire multiple projectiles, forget it they are are an absolute nuisance for being just a mob, I would rather fight a boss.
It's just such a silly mob to fight against with a ranged character. I electrocute them and hit them with all my DPS but they still take forever to die. Dernière édition par TwitchGLHFsport#2155, le 14 févr. 2026 à 00:52:13

the more you hit them when they have the shield up the more projectiles they fire at you (shield reflect everything back), approach them and as soon as he swing his weapon you can deal damage and kill em with ease.
Thats how i deal with them early game. |

I always fight Eternal Knight in melee and never had problems using that tactic, in melee they dont reflect/counter, they only auto attack which is easily dodgable.

Green beams turn slowly, so if you for whatever reason miss the tell (sound) you can dodgeroll sideways (perpendicular to the beam) to get out of it.
It looks like they shoot through walls, but I believe it's just visuals, they don't actuellay do damage. |

If there is only 1 I would be comfortable doing that.
In this instance there were 3 rare Eternal Knights, I didn’t want to risk getting close to them because the closer you are the harder it is to dodge the skulls. I use unleash on my lightning bolt so even the unleash stacks can proc the skulls multiple times. If somehow the lightning bolt splashes and hits another one, it will 1 burst me easily. The interaction with the skulls and spark is an abomination. I would electrocute them which brings its guard down, use elemental weakness and lightning bolt It many times, only to see their health go down slower than a boss. I have no problem with magical Eternal Knights that don’t have waystone mods. Rare Eternal Knights and endgame Eternal Knight with resistances become insanely tanky for no reason. It’s like a mini boss that only 4heads green skulls at you and takes forever to kill. I think the devs should sit down and play against a few of rare Eternal Knights and consider the gameplay experience, if it’s a good one or a silly one. This song needs to come on when you encounter multiple rare Eternal Knights https://youtu.be/TBtJR1IFM8c |

those abyss things you're talking about are a pain in the ass. all i can say is be careful.
as far as eternal knights. they reflect your damage. bait them into dropping their shield, no reflect and they're super squishy. the stone gargoyles and lost-men with the shields have similar mechanics. |

" Yeah that’s a good point, but while they are being electrocuted their guard should be down too. The amount of damage they take even while being electrocuted is still very small and they last forever. Sure my staff could be a mirror and that’s not the case, but why does it take longer to kill Eternal Knights than the boss? |
