PLEASE give us RUTHLESS leagues

I really liked the difficulty when the game first released, but it's moved quite far from that. A lot of people seem to think it's too difficult even now, but there are also many who think it is too easy. We can satisfy both groups. Make the standard game easier and add in ruthless leagues for people who like that style more.

We can satisfy both the zoom zoom people and the ones who want more difficulty. Everyone can win!

I wholeheartedly agree.

I really liked how you lost the map if you died, no matter how few mods you had. I don't want to play totally HC, but this was a very cool 1/2HC system. I already love Heist in PoE1, and that was basically the same thing, already.

I also miss maps dropping at any tier level, up to the current area level (same as PoE1). This was interesting, because it made me think, when I want to use a lower tier waystone or when I want to use a high tier one. Do I use the low tier one with great mods, or the high tier one with terrible ones?

Lastly, I greatly miss towers, because they really gave the atlas map a sense of geography. Now, every place looks pretty much the same as any other place. There's almost no point to having the atlas map, anymore.

I don't know how much of this is possible or desirable in a Ruthless mode, but getting back any of this would be amazing!

Yeah. There are differences in what people what from the maps, and differences in what people what from the campaign. Instead of making both sides upset about making the game too easy and fast or making the game too slow and hard, just separate the leagues and embrace the two different directions. They can revert boss nerfs, collision size when rolling, item drop rate, etc. for Ruthless, and they can make the other leagues faster and more casual and more like POE 1 and be very receptive to every complaint they see. Everyone can be happy.

the game now is too easy. 2 weeks in and I dont find any motivation to go into maps, all other leagues I played from first to last day of them, this one, I am about to quit, its too boring now. I find no challenge, even killing uber arbiter u dont have only 1 life, so wtf uber?

Agreed. Game is easy af now. I am pushing level 100 on a Chonk this league, lol.

please dont make poe2 noob-friendly

If so, then add all the simplifications to the ‘noob league’.

POE 2 should be know from harder and slower gameplay
so i guess

"baby mode" should be a thing and something like ruthless be a default.
