Currency drop rates feel way worse than pre-0.3.1

Feels kind of worse but not really.

My biggest gripe are boss loot is clearly nerfed as far as currency. I used to juice bosses and get a div here and there. Haven't seen one from a a boss since the patch and they are on literally every map. Dumb to make it mandatory but take away the actual reward.

Otherwise I've had success juicing for pack size and rarity, which don't cost too much as well as for rituals mostly. I probably got 12 div from omens yesterday and a dozen raw divs, plus some ground scores. Pinnacle content is mostly ass besides King of the Mists.

But currently I'm juicing maps to 130-200 rarity, using deli for pack size, and rare monsters on my tablets. Sometimes i go pack size on waystones and the drops are pretty good too, I noticed pack size seems to have a good effect with the abyss mobs.

Real issue is time in map. They need to unveil the rare mobs once you kill the boss to aid in the clean up. Hell, breaches show up on my map in places I haven't discovered yet to speed things up, why not the rares too?

As a poster highlighted, 158% rarity + Rarity omen on Map + Rare monsters + 2x Rarity 1x Quant + more rare monsters on tablets and I'm dropping absolutely nothing.

In contrast, I had stacked a bunch of towers prior to the update as I correctly suspected the already Tablet empowered maps via Towers wouldn't get wiped. I ran all those with the same setup and was dropping multiple expensive currency. Of course, I ran out of those maps now and the game feels staler than a wet noodle left outside for years...

Well it isn't stupid towers we want. Streamers whining about being "too Godlike" or getting "too much loot" might have caused all these other nerfs that came with the patch finally removing towers.

Nobody asked for remove "some monsters" or lower drop rates. They need to add the monsters back in, along with rare markers. And have multiple ways to complete maps, not just one method every time.

Their excuse was the monsters made mapping too hard at low tier. Are you serious? The hard part about entering mapping is getting your hands on a T10+ map because everything lower is easier than campaign/interludes. Devs gaslighting players to explain away their nerfs is infuriating. It's almost as if after they posted the video they got word they made a mistake and were going to be allowing super juiced nodes, then they slapped in changes based on everyone having tower-juiced nodes plus the new system.

Devs need to play their own damn game for like 15m at least before throwing out these patches.

and it is pretty obvious that they turned the loot knob all the way down, after realizing how fucking dumb of a mistake it was to let people double juice content.

i haven't seen a patch absolutely destroy my motivation to play a game... since... oh wait. since poe2 .2 patch.....

this game in its current direction is going to bllllleeeeeeeeeeeddddddd players faster than the actual characters die to bleed in the game.
Towers were awful but new system made farming strats too simple without ability to create unique juicy strat. For example before patch i farmed Rakiata + Citadels + Vault, and in this strat you need at least to think what to run first, what tower to use next. Now you just run 3 nerfed tablets without loot.
In my case they need 6x slots, balance tablets, cuz for example ritual need more then 3 types of tablets to run. And now we slowly coming for "50" different types of scarabs in poe1:)

While at the same time, reducing the numbers of monsters in open layouts across all tiers, but placing the announcement behind a similar pack size change that only affects early tiers.

Another muddy change that ended up just nerfing base maps and further increasing the insane gap the poor implementation of the precursors caused.
