You people are insane. A week ago you wanted towers gone and more bosses. Thats exactly what we got and now thats bad?
No, the towers are not gone. They simply swapped impacting area by tablets to impacting each map separately. This gives flexibility for each map but removes benefits of overlapping. But the whole system is still the same, I think people wanting to remove towers wanted to have the whole system reworked. What we got is a duck tape fix. Cheapest solution possible, just to say "we removed towers"
There is functionally no reason to path to any towers and you can freely ignore them as you please.Towers didnt get removed ,their function did which is what people were bitching about for the last month. The system is still getting reworked! They said 0.4 will be the endgame rework, this IS a duct tape fix because SO MANY people were bitching about it and GGG isnt going to drop a full endgame redesign midleague. That makes 0 sense
i. and alot of people.
would argue this is exacty that.
a midleague redesign.
this patch functionally, and economically, reshaped player behaviors, qol, maps, drops, everything. everything was touched by this.
it is very much a midleague redesign.

Would you rather have just waited the 4 months until 0.4 so we can play a different endgame and still have to play the tower overlap chasing simulator in the meantime?

Do you have any evidence that the design philosophy has in fact changed?
did you....
read any patch notes or play the game in the last 2 leagues?
the evidence is pretty clear.
Yes I did.
Which part of the patch notes specifically indicate to you that GGG intends for the player base to continue playing the game for 4 months out of 4 months of each league?

they should get rid of the increased boss HP. I was running T16's no problem but now I had to remove my boss atlas points lol I dont want to spend 10 min fighting a boss who drops nothing >.<
I like the changes other than that.
Edit: They should bring back the elite markers too :D it makes those spirits harder to do lol

yes.
at least then, things actually drop.... and the economy doesnt go from 0-60 in 2 hours with inflaction due to the impact of lowered currnecy drops.
until the next league... where i dont have to waste my time when i read the patch notes and havent sunk countless hours into my characters and builds.
midleague changes this severe impact hundreds of hours for people invested into characters and builds that will no longer function as well, or if at all, the same. while making less currncy, and leveling up slower.
if you cannot see, or understand, how much negative impact this patch had to this league. you will soon enough. when you go to exchange currnecy for a divine orb in about 6 hours.
if you want an example, of the kind of economic shift that just happend. go look at the precursors you had in a random stash tab previous to this patch. they will most likely, be rolled UNDER THE MINIMUM % the new ones drop at.
if you had any decent to good precursors...
they are now WORTHLESS.

These arent severe changes! It addressed the top end of juicing that was 3-4 tower overlaps and addressed the MAIN CONCERN that was KEEPING players in juiced maps instead of the high juice in like 4-5 maps and then a drought until the next overlap. The economy was already inflating prepatch. And if you think reading patch notes is a waste of your time why are you even here in the feedback forums.

dont twist my words.
reading them isnt the waste of time. the waste of time would be playing, after reading them. cuz i and many would know, how badly it would effect the game.
and explain to me how destroying peoples characters that were set up to farm rare monsters/mapping and not bosses... isnt severe?
and like i said... look at teh conversion to divines right now. and then in 6 hours. and youll zip it real fast on that statement.

I personally play SSF I couldnt care less what the coversion of divines is. And if you can point me to a build that eas killing rares with ease but is struggling with killing bosses Id love to know because HOW.

honestly... i would be too if i were them.
losing a lot of the playerbase , and potential customers, a month after league start ...
to a terrible midleague patch...
ya id be pretty mald'y.
not that i have any sympathy for them. they should rot.
but i at least understand why they would be ;)
