Experience Loss in Endgame Maps
With the INSANE amount of visual clutter in this game, the experience penalty should be stricken from the game, Change my mind.
It is completely demoralizing and absolutely not worth my time to continue past level 90. Giving me exactly 4 days worth of content per season. This idea was cool back before World of Warcraft was released, The closing of my Maps is already punishment enough. To combat losing experience, I am forced into playing META builds that one shot the screen or playing builds that cant do damage but cant die. I am all for the slower gameplay vision, and it seems as though with this route we are forced into a playstyle in maps that is the complete opposite of GGG's vision. Experience loss prevents experimenting with cool things. It is counter productive to the idea of action ROLE PLAYING GAMES. RPGs are all about experience gains, or did we lose sight of that vision? I'm 97 and die more often than I want to admit.

personally I like the xp loss. Just makes getting to 100 more of an achievement instead of an inevitability. its pretty easy to get to 95 even with xp loss and the last 5 skill points arent going to change much. 100 is more of a prestige. also, you're trying to change the devs mind, changing your mind doesnt really matter. |

" So i'm going to assume you are a new player -- You know how hardcore guys get their characters to 95+ without dying a single time? Prioritize. Defenses. All you noobs don't understand this game isn't about doing damage, it's about SURVIVING the damage. The other option is being such a glass cannon you one shot everything around you~ The xp penalty should be teaching you dying = bad. Don't die. It shows you your defenses are lacking. You're supposed to say "hey i'm dying a lot, whats wrong?" then you look at your build and see "oh shit, my evasion is only 54" or whathaveyou -- then you stop dying so much. Instead of wondering what is wrong and looking at your build, the generic response is "GAME BAD, NERF PLZ". To be fair, I very rarely die, and that makes me more upset than less upset LOL -- I feel where you're coming from. We have all almost been to level 96 or whatever and rip 3x in a super crazy map. That is the game. Most importantly -- Levels are one of the strongest things in the game. Not for just the point, it raises all your base stats a little -- so this would be a huge buff for players (Unwanted) and a huge nerf to the monsters (Unwanted) |

I struggle with this one. I wish there was a way to just turn exp off temporarily, like can't gain and can't lose. Because I refuse to do any content or play with a friend at all if I have even 1/4 of a level built up.
I am reduced to using dozens of omens of ameloration and if I die once I exit the map immediately. I don't do any content at all really, just breaches and easy stuff for exp. Losing exp physically causes me pain so I abandonded all my citadels and refuse to fight most bosses just to preserve exp. But I don't enjoy the game and it's not fun. I am just addicted. " It's ok to request for reducing visual clutter. But it's not ok to ask for reduced penalty for xp loss on death. If ggg reduces xp loss on death, every player will reach level 100 very fast and nobody will play the game anymore. The game will die very fast. Only the best and top players at the top of the pyramid should achieve level 100. 34pre98qua

Only allowed 1 of those per instance. If I have a quarter of a level built up, I will lose it with one 3 respawn map. It is insane.

Dont die, be better.
You have already received an item that reduces EXP loss by 75%. Level 100 should not consist of ‘getting up dead, getting up dead’. |
