By the way theres plenty of threads about shit combat in both PoEs, but in poe1 at least theres tons of content and build diversity and its built for these zooming builds.

Are you blatantly admitting you use discord to orchestrate concerted efforts to bump your discord members' posts on the forum...? Isn't that blatantly just a dishonest skewing of the forum and players feedback who do not have a community like this to back them up?

ROFL. Coping hard my man, coping hard. Sorry to tell you, but you're exactly who is in the minority. Saying that PoE2 shouldn't be like PoE1 on the forum of the studio, which developed PoE1 non-stop for like 22 years at this point is crazy. Of course it has its flaws but for such an old game it holds up very well. And it definitely has a lot of mechanics which work better than in PoE2. Saying that PoE2 shouldn't be like PoE1 (at least in some aspects) is pretty much denying of reality.

You completely missed my point so I'll clarify.

Having SOME similarities between POE 1 and 2 is fine. It is made by the same Devs so of course there are going to be commonalities between the two. HOWEVER, POE 2 shouldn't just be a copy/paste of POE 1. POE 2 has captured tens of thousands if not hundreds of thousands of players throughout the leagues and other than a small minority on the forum and reddit it is loved. We all want a different version of POE 1 that is slower and you can't watch TV or a movie while playing.

The current direction with the end game towers is concerning because it is taking the same direction of the end game of POE 1 which in my thoughts is completely boring.

POE 2 is putting up numbers taht POE 1 has never even reached. More players are currently playing POE 2 right now than POE 1. IF POE 1 is a superior game (as that very small minority says it is) then why are they not playing POE 1?

Because Poe2 is way more new and clean looking with a less difficult learning curve for crafting and gems, obviously people will play it more than a 12 year old game as the graphic is way more clean and the learning curve for basic stuff is easier to learn, they don't need to research how links and gem colors work, all they need to do is put skill gem and support gem

Oh damn. It was so good that I missed the fact it was funny. It's so funny that a bunch of people just misrepresent their actual in-game experience to spread disillusion and somehow think it's helpful to game development. It's really hilarious actually, you got me good.

crazy how numbers means nothing when you've been proven you're actually in the minority (as i stated based on this post the number of people for/against and actual casual gamers who works jobs instead of spending their days on discord) but hey denial is the first stage of grief, ''expirience'' as you said means nothing when the majority of players are not having a good experience if it's too challenging

If i am not in the minority why is there only 20 people on this forum really complaining about the game and less than 100 on reddit? Funny how there are 200k players and probably 1% of people complain on the forum and claim to be the majority.

well considering the fact that (ignoring the people who post 10 replies i only count them as 1 person) on this post alone, 5 people (counting you) disagree with the way the game is going and 11 people (counting me) are agreeing it's going a good way, i think it's self explanatory who the majority of players are, just because ''you'' don't like it and others are making post saying they don't, doesn't mean it's the majority, don't just look at the title of the post, posting is easy everyone can do it, but having way more than half disagree with the post explains everything

Look at the replies too and separate those who are for/against and it will give you a small idea on who is majority

once again, this post alone, 5 against the way it's going 11 agreeing for the way it's going

out of 200k players as you said, they're playing the game in this current state are they not? which kind of explains they like the direction the game is going compared to what they originally did, the rest who stopped playing during initial release either stopped because they hated the challenge or are just waiting for full release when everything will be better and more casual friendly
