Concerning direction

I am typically a happy go-lucky guy when it comes to the decision you are maknig about the game but to be honest. The direction is not to go more POE 1 like. Tens of thousands of us players are loving the new style and direction of the game. Its a super small minority of players who are complaining on this forum and reddit to make it more POE 1 like. Stick to the vision GGG...

and to the people who are going to swarm on this thread and argue...POE 1 is literally active right now and all the game you love is still open for you to play.

Stay the course GGG...

They have to do something to try and get people to play this game. If they go in more of a PoE 1 direction then at least some of the PoE 1 players will come back. The question then becomes: What's the point of even having two games if they're both the same?

ROFL. Coping hard my man, coping hard. Sorry to tell you, but you're exactly who is in the minority. Saying that PoE2 shouldn't be like PoE1 on the forum of the studio, which developed PoE1 non-stop for like 22 years at this point is crazy. Of course it has its flaws but for such an old game it holds up very well. And it definitely has a lot of mechanics which work better than in PoE2. Saying that PoE2 shouldn't be like PoE1 (at least in some aspects) is pretty much denying of reality.

Yet, here you are making a forum post about that "super small minority" being criticizing game choices that the devs are making. Wonder where did you got that tens of thousands of numbers tho, yall have any secret discord where yall just go and cope?

Yea, we are well-organized crowd of people, who want to let GGG know that theres not only zommy-screenblaster are playing their game.
And judging by every second post and thread pop up n feedback theres really A LOT OF people who want poe2 to be different and way they wanted it to be in 0.1.
And let GGG know that they shouldnt spoil their game due to streamer reviews and some PoE1 fans who cried the game too difficult in 0.2.

And this is not even the game release when most of new player will get in.

i went and logged in poe1 for the pohx league i was surprised because the game felt slower than poe2, the good thing in poe2 game play is that usually i know what hit killed me because projectiles and attacks are well telegraphed while in poe1 sometimes i die and i cannot even see what hit me

Of course, in some aspects.
For example build diversity, build freedom, deep therycrafting gameplay, awesome bosses and storyline.
But never the screencluttering giga speed mindless blasting through maps.
