VISUAL CLARITY and PERFORMANCE - THE BIGGEST ISSUES that need to be solved before 1.0
|
the visual is all on screen.
the funny thing to me is, if I turn on minimap over the screen, I'm always lost and need to read the little cross of mine very carefully. but thanks to GGG's work on controller with Lightning Arrow and Herald skills, I could feel if the monster is getting damage by the different vibration from controller, and I'm on PC not Pltform. |

" If you are playing with high res settings, then the problem here is that you probably installed the game on SATA ssd disk, which loads hi res textures much slower than M2 disk, especially PCIe-5 M2. |

" Agreed, POE 2 was supposed to fix this. When you are able to clutter the entire screens with explosions that just deletes everything instantly; the only way to kill a player is with ridiculous amounts of monsters and insane damage that 1 shots you. Tottally on board with this, reduce the explosions balance monster density and power around that en increase rewards. Dernière édition par Zabanov#1474, le 27 nov. 2025 à 04:59:10

I completely agree that this is what we need.

All your solutions are tuning everything down. I really hate this, why sacrifice fun just to solve things?
Just like how BF6 recently changed breakthrough mode from 32vs32 players team to 24 vs 24 teams. Because people complained they are dying too often lol. This ruined the whole fun of the mode now everyone complains it. You are asking for the same, tune down abyss monsters, tune down this, tune down that. The only thing that I agree is FOG. And that's because I don't want to play the game looking at grey screen as a guy who like colors. Dernière édition par Kage#1250, le 2 déc. 2025 à 03:38:54

I have to agree with visual clarity being a huge problem in POE2, more so than POE1 you guys need to tone down the visual effects on player skills it's more annoying than impactful.

Steam Launch Options (DX11 – most stable in my testing): --renderer DirectX11 --noasync --waitforpreload |

To add to the problem, it seems map objects like trees no longer go translucent much anymore, as well as high ground. While I agree something needs done about these issues, there is nothing GGG will do about it. They sell cosmetics that change the way skills look and they want others to see it, so they might decided to purchase it. Even Blizzard solved this problem somewhat in D4.

+1:
Visual clutter is insane in this game, and I cannot see what's happening over half the time, no matter what class I'm playing. I really don't know how to solve this issue because we all want powerful flashy characters, but then not the clutter. I STILL think the camera should be zoomed out by like 10% more or so, at LEAST in bosses FFS. |
