" If that is the case (and hope you're wrong), then atleast GGG could offer two difficulties for the campaign- normal and cruel. Cruel would just buff monsters and bosses so the campaign can actually feel like a challenging adventure. This would appease both groups of players, would it not? |

" Someone isn't paying attention to how patches are going and what GGG is saying... The game is turning more into POE 1 (as it should, it's called POE 2 after all). What you need to do is invest more than we did, and outnumber POE 1 players -- there's so few new players it's surprising they haven't reverted more things faster honestly. Bad ideas are universal. POE 2 is full of bad ideas. Things that wouldn't fly in POE 1 for a reason (bad/shit ideas) are being tested in POE 2 -- the data is coming in, not many people are happy. " It would help if the tutorial wasn't the equivalent of running white maps with no modifiers. That's my main gripe with it. In endgame, I get breach, expedition, delirium, ritual, essences, strongboxes, shrines, and rogue exiles aplenty. In campaign, you only get expedition once, half of 1 wave of simulacrum in act 4, no breach, ritual only once, garbage essences in scarce encounters, a scant few strongboxes, maybe one shrine in act 4, and a couple rogue exiles in act 4. I don't think it's fair to expect anyone to be on board with the suggestion of making the campaign harder, even as an option. PoE players: Our game has a wide diversity of builds. Also PoE players: The [league mechanic] doesn't need to be nerfed, you just need to play a [current meta] build! " I think you are way overestimating A) How many people want to be stuck in the campaign longer, and B) How many people want the campaign harder. Can I prove it? No. But I suspect that its the same 90/10 split of people who don't play multiplayer/pvp and people who do when it is offered.
