Why ruin? It makes these lower tier orbs worth something, which is especially good for campaign players or players who play on low tier maps, because the stuff they find has actually some value.

There are some things, which shouldn't be easily obtainable. PJOs are one of that thing. If you don't like it, too bad.

Absolute bullshit! Jeweller's orbs are a tiny fraction of the market. The market wouldn't even notice if you could upgrade them 3:1.

Nobody said it should be easy, but the rarity of PJOs is just fucking ridiculous for an item that's essential for almost all builds.

If they made them reforgeable then they'd balance it out by making them WAY harder to find because eventually you could just reforge em up to the top tier, no matter the cost. You don't know what you're asking for, buddy. It's fine as it is. Don't like seeing em, well, you have an item filter for that.
If you're running T15s and not even finding Greaters, then it sounds like something is amiss with your Juicing technique. I've even found perfects before getting to T15 (not a ton, but not a ton @ t15 either).

Adding slots to your skills is probably one of the best balanced drops in EA imo.
