Loot in lunaris temple.

I did a couple runs (Lunaris 2/3) just now. Did not keep notes but:

121 rarity / 65 quantity

always had to portal back to town to vendor rares at least 3 times.
Piety always dropped 2-6 rares.

I've been doing these runs for a week now, without IIQ/IIR gear the drops were much worse (with Piety dropping all blues at times)

RNG is my guess or not enought quantity in favour of rarity.

I did three runs in Lunaris Temple (level 2 only cause I can't see much on level 3 due to darkness).

1/2/1 rares and then I died due to desync, which teleported me in the farthest corner of tiny room full of monsters with no way out. Also found one chisel, two chrome orbs and two orbes of chance

And the best from those rares was

Not sure what you're doing but usually I have to port 2-3 times in a normal Piety run to sell all the rares I get. Docks is obviously way faster than running Lunaris but it's also way less xp at this point for me.

I haven't seen a single rare item dropped by boss since cruel Vaal.

if u have no or low iq/ir then obviously u wont get good drops.

iq/ir gear is costly for a reason.

Did many runs before and after patch with increased lvl of area.
It is good place. But my numbers were 65%q 332%r not some low or none q/r... Invest into gear to find gear, that is how I see it. Got nice rares/uniques also... Repeat and rock%roll

I'm not complaining, I don't have goal to find anything, only level to xx and finish the game

Twice the amount of rares won't do anything good for you, you should go through a hundred of rare items just to get something reasonably good. And consider MF hurts your perfomance you need 150-200% MF to get twice the amount

we're playing the same game, but viewing it from 2 very different perspectives.

level to xx and finish the game? if finishing the game means completing all the 77 maps, i've done that a long time ago.

the game can be completed too easily if u're only aiming to get a certain level or to complete merciless / highest lvl maps. but that's not what poe is about, it's about making multiple charcs with different builds, and farming for gear to equip all those charcs.

back to finding rares, yes it takes a ton of rares to get something good, but by not using ir/iq gear, it will take a whole lot more of luck and time. and i find at least 8-10 rares+ PER BOSS, so that's a lot more than just twice the amount of rares. MF only hurts your performance at the start, before u can afford good mf gear which does not compromise survivability and dps. that's where i am at now, sure it took a lot of time and effort, but that's the whole point of the game... to keep finding items and improve your charcs.
