Why is warrior getting nerfed?

I believe that constant in the denominator was buffed in .2 to be 10 instead of 12. Its been a while since then though. I was using 10. the most blatant glazing is assuming 100% armour to elemental and 20k+ armour

What would have been something, is for them to add some inherent buff for just clicking warrior, and completing the first ascendancy is giving warriors 100% of armour counting towards elemental damage with 0 investment. just an inherent bonus of being titan/warbringer/smith of kitava.

Blood mage seems to have gotten this sort of treatment with the life node being free. I don't quite understand how that works though.

im not confused at the slightest. Being immune to damage doesnt kill monsters or make you move any faster.

So you agree that active block makes one's character immune to all damage? Interesting.

Will be cool completely bypassing all boss mechanics in this game, because active block makes us immune to damage.

I dont agree with that because block only works on hits, but if you DID have an immune character it doesn't mean its a good character.

IF you were able to be completely immune it still is worthless if that's your only bonus. Builds that are good are well rounded.

There are also abilities in the game that are unblockable.

well *all damage, the telegraphed car alarm red glow attacks are still fair game here lol
Active block is trash. It may be something that some people use sometimes. But relying on that over a 2 month period while waiting on poe1 launch will get extremely annoying.

It sounds like something you could only get excited for if you have a macro that holds that button down for you if you're performing no other skill commands.
According to many people in this thread, the following are true:

1. Warrior is A OK because it was buffed and nerfed at the same time.
2. Active block now makes your character immune to all damage OR immune to most damage except really obvious telegraphed red circle damage.
3. The tooltip calculation for armor applies equally to all physical damage. Monster level is not a thing worth discussing.

Remind me to never visit these forums again. I bid you farewell.

active block is very strong, and OP with skills like resonating shield and some uniques. you sprinkle an insta hp pot and you have a meme build like d3 ww barb with ll.

warrior needs work that ggg wont do, they rather make melee into poe1 pseudo melee and call it a day. perfect strike changes are a great example of this

Why does automation and cwdt exist in poe1?

if people had to manually press molten shell/steelskin/immortal call it probably wouldn't be in any builds. Outside of bossing you aren't going to be able to react to the damage intake in any reasonable time to make it useful. Poe2 is a bit different in that its slower. Still trash.

Typing here that its strong doesn't change the fact that people don't want to use it.
10-15% of warriors use res shield. 'the fact that people don't want to use it.' is a bit wonky. that's even without getting into the 'popular' vs 'good' debacle
Just because its in a skill slot doesnt mean people use it. I have all sorts of stuff in skill slots that i dont use because they become irrelevant and i dont need all the slots.
