I was wrong. New Giant's Blood is better.
I recently said that Giant's Blood is bad.
But i think if you think about it before posting dumb posts (like me) you will see that many changes are quite good. So, right now Giants Blood makes it so you only get 1 HP per 1 STR. But since you dont need to stack 600+ STR for weapon anymore you will just get around 300 hp pentalty. And if new tree gives HP nodes that will help even more. This is not them nerfing Gian'ts Blood its them reducing requirement of taking STR nodes as a nessesity, as they said in Q&A. I rly want to see passive tree. Dernier bump le 22 août 2025 à 14:57:13

" It was impossible for me to grab giant's blood on my gemling unless i had astramentis or had strenght in every single piece of gear while satisfying resistances and other stats at the same time. i had to give up on it. At least now i can try to play with that, so yes defintely good. |

I don't understand if the new reduce life from strenght is added as a downside or if it replaces the triple stat requirement. Is this confirmed anywhere, because i feel like it is the first case.

Same, I don't get what OP is saying.
As far as I see it, Giant's Blood still needs as much strength as before but now gives less health per point of strength aswell. It's a straight up nerf, probably deserved, but still no one can say it's in any way better than before. GGG wants to give players an incentive to go for one handed maces instead, which is also why they changed sunder from having a static attack time increase to a scaleable "less attack speed" modifier. |

" Well I might be wrong, but I haven't seen evidence for it yet. |

" It does sound like the 1hp per 1 strenght is going to replace the old effect but yeah cant actually tell. It was hard to use for me before this change now i can completely forget about it, 2 downsides feels very bad. |

" If they wanted to funnel players into 1h, they should've buffed 1h instead of nerfing 2h. It looks a little hypocritical now, when Rogers was talking about "Buffing instead of nerfing to increase build diversity" at first (it was comment on diablo 4 I believe). And yet since the start of poe 2 all we see is the nerfs of things that (even barely) work and don't feel completely miserable. |

" because they've reduced attribute requires on everything by 25%. |
