0.3 support gem changes opinions.
" You're contradicting yourself here. If this change was to limit build diversity, then it wouldn't allow you to create a build that focuses solely on every grenade skill. It'd be in fact impossible to do so without being able to use the same support gem for them. In fact it might be possible to scale such a build to actual endgame in 0.3, in which case in this particular example, they will have created one more build, not taken it away. |

" No no trust me if this is true, it'll be a game changer. What makes PoE 1 is PoE 1 is this thing. Using support gems without restrictions makes lots of other main skill gems more worthy. Lots of them look like trash because we can't support them how we want to. Mainly minion and hardcore melee warrior builds can be so much better with this implementation. I hope the leak is true about this. I really wish. I haven't played 0.2 because of lack of build diversity. This can make people return back to the game. Especially PoE 1 mains like me. Please GGG... Please... Just please... Dernière édition par Vjoldin#1538, le 20 août 2025 à 11:01:49

" Whats the point of developing a new game, tell everybody it will be a different game, and then developing it exactly like the first one?? PoE Remastered? I mean i dont mind what they do, if they add it i'm up to see what it will look like first and then give opinion. I saw new skills, pretty cool to be honest so lot of stuff is cooking but why develop a new game to make it looks like exactly the previous one? After the latest leak, I’m starting to want to get a refund. I don’t know if that’s even possible, but at the very least Steam should refund me.
It feels like they’re really on track to bring back gameplay where the whole point boils down to how many times per minute you can kill the boss. That’s certainly "so much fun" and clearly something someone other than the current PoE1 fans needs. I’m very disappointed with the direction. All that’s left is to make bosses even weaker and increase the loot 100x so the screen is buried; then you’ll have yet another faceless ARPG for 200k users that people switch between every season. Instead of making skill usage meaningful and situational - rather than replacing spam-clicking one button with spam-clicking n buttons and calling it a “combo” - they’ve apparently decided that’s not their path. Here’s what I don’t get: if I like PoE, why would I play another PoE with less content? Why are all these fans of the first game pestering the second? And why did the developers listen to the whining of people who just want to mindlessly stare at screen effects for 500 hours per league? |

Reflecting on what the latest guy said, i also agree with him, boss fights at least pinnacle (3-4 or speced in atlas) should always be a 2-3 min fight you should not be able to oneshot them without mirror tier builds and they should not be able to oneshot you with every attack. I can understand a bit slower mapclear on some builds, cuz spending times on each pack is a bit boring, i think currently minions are in a good position when you start endgame but they fall off if u spec into atlas on boss damage but clear is still good with them (at least cold minions with the command skill). I really like the slower chunkyer fighting i don't want it to become like poe1 where you just run and clear with a casual 20 div build. And i don't want every build to be like current lightning spear where you came ouf of campaign and with minimal upgrades you just oneshot bosses and screens of enemyes at that point there is no progress and you get bored. Minions for me were in a good condition it just lacks boss damage at tier 4 4-5 min fight.

" You do not understand me. I am not saying that the current meta builds will remain the same, and new meta builds will not replace them. The change of the viability of builds is not being questioned. I am saying that the NEW builds, that this change will introduce, will be of lesser variety. If I have to explain it better: It may allow me to create a build, that focuses on all grenade types with double activation. And at the same time kill every single build that doesn't focus on all grenade types with double activation. Think for a moment, if you can throws grenades and do double damage why would someone be throwing grenades and do half? This is my whole point... |

" [Removed by Support] At a certain point you're required to choose which damage type you will scale - the corresponding grenade skill will benefit the most from adding actual %more damage multipliers to it via supports. Every other grenade skill you choose to use in conjunction will be relegated to a pure support role (stun/blind/electrocute/freeze/chill/whathaveyou) and thus adding the exact same supports to it WILL NOT provide the same benefits to them. Therefore you will be inclined to instead expand their aoe/ailment effects/lower fuse duration/etc. Some supports are going to overlap, but not all of them. You are given MORE options, not less. " [Removed by Support] The grenade skills share tags, and benefit from the same supports. Just do not put brutality support to your fire grenade, and you will be alright. Dernière édition par Vash_GGG#0000, le 20 août 2025 à 16:16:09
